Bachelor Pad.

fish are useless. no one cares. people will look at it for 30 seconds. they shouldn't be pets imo.
neither should birds. expensive *** pet that will take a lot of maintenance for visuals only.
better off investing in some art.
its a niche hobby and when u got money it dont matter.

edit: in addition i believe in taking care of certain fishes that are "useless" brings good fortune and wealth. call me brazy. idgaf.

I paid my way through my Masters and I always think about how that $$$ could be used for a down payment for a dope home right now.
Education bankrupts smh
Don't look at it that way you financed your future for better career opportunities.

I'll be damn if I go back to school for my masters. A waste of money.

Never understood people having birds as pets, seem expensive and a lot of work. The noise and headaches they cause.

This dude I know used to have an African grey parrot in an apartment building. The thing was so damn loud and annoying and he had the nerve to be upset when they made him get rid of it

I just think you should only have pets if they can be domesticated and actually wanna be tour pet I.e dogs

Any pet can be seen as a companion. Some people are lonely out there. Plus you could be saving any animals life.

You wouldn't think about it, but some of those cat breeds go for more money than dogs. Persians and Savannah cats go for crazy money. Breeding can definitely be a profitable side hustle. It's just not for everyone.

How do you like your cabinet? I almost got that with the side shelves when it was on sale. Took pause because of long back order time for shelves. It was several months then, but ended up not being the case when I checked again 3 weeks later, but the sale was over 😂

yeah, I grabbed mine on sale. So far so good.
I like that it’s flush to the floor, so you can’t see under it.The cabinet storage space is quite sizable too. Fits all my **** cleanly so I don’t have to have too much sitting on top. It’s a clean look, I’m just hoping it doesn’t fade too quickly. I’m in corner unit with floor to ceiling windows, it gets sunny in here and that sun yellowed my last one super quickly!

getting taken out back right now by timing.

Signed lease pre COVID and runs through around when COVID should die down due to vaccines (July). Paying so much more monthly than we should be. There’s so many good deals out there right now but we can’t take advantage of it. Unfortunate...not in the large scheme of things obviously...just at a personal level of feeling like money is being left on the table

I got a condo in the city. Mixed use building, half hotel half residences. Friday night about 20 women got thrown out the lobby because they came down for the weekend but had no place to stay. They were literally tryna pick off thirsty dudes as they were coming home, tryna get an invite up to a room

How is THAT experience? Do you ever feel like you have privacy?

Seems like a lot of foot traffic around your living area.

In regards to pet talks here’s my pup lol. But in bachelor pad regards I just snagged this pretty comfy eames lounge chair rep for cheap on OfferUp. 1 day maybe I’ll have the means to buy the authentic version for $5,500+ lol. Liked the chair so much I went and grabbed a Herman Miller Sayl chair for WFH since my dining room chair was tearing up my back from sitting in the 8+ hours a day. Next thing is probably that automated raise & lower desk from Costco .

you're lucky you live on the west coast, fires aside. Garages are a must, where it snows. I'm looking to buy a condo and can't do one without a garage.

FINALLY GOT THE NEW SALTWATER TANK DELIVERED AND HAVE BEEN SLOWLY GETTING IT SET UP AND LEVELED. WAS PRETTY SCARY DRILLING THROUGH THE FLOOR TO RUN THE LINES FOR CONTROL AND AUTO WATER CHANGES BUT IT CAME OUT NICE. FEELS GOOD TO ALSO START CLEARING THE SPACE OF ALL THE EQUIPMENT I HAD BEEN COLLECTING FOR IT.

ROCKWORK FOR THE TANK IS CURRENTLY CYCLING AND FISH ARE BEING QUARANTINED AND TREATED FOR ANY DISEASES FOR A FEW WEEKS BEFORETHEY ARE READY TO BE ADDED TO THE SYSTEM.
