Ahh... Nilo. Hehe Ok yung place in terms of safety (unlike some baranggay leagues). Kaso he's a playing organizer and the refs are reallybiased when you play against his team. Not only against their team but also on teams commercially sponsored (Puyat, Red Bull, etc.). Well, opinion ko langsiguro yun since talunan kame. hehe

mga sir most probably when and where po ung games? i wanna join po kasi eh... hirap student life lalo na't graduating from high school

bro, although i agree it's a good entry level.... im not sure about restrictions. i had a very very bad experience in that league(MBT). forexample...that league is for 6' below and yet other teams we played against teams with players who measure over the height limit. another thing was you canplay in more than 1 division. it's like playing in both junior and ****** division at the same time and in the same league. im not even going into detailshow they officiate games, man. that league is very biased. nilo and his refs s**k big time! your lucky you didnt join.
by the way, we went 7-0 going into the semis despite their f**k ups.....semis is when they really turned up the heat against us!

nice to hear all of your inputs.. havent played sa mbt.. wanted to try sana.. pero upon hearing some of the comments.. i think its necessary that we look forother possible leagues.. kasi yung mibl.. metropolitan invitational basketball league.. ok yung organizer and comepetitve yung mga kasali... pero sa dumlao gymyung venue... medyo old na kasi yun.. and based on my experience playing there medyo namimili ng stroke yung ring dun! hahahahaha! anyways... lets start bytrying to form our team.. sign up lang muna tayo... we'll have practice games/ try outs? during the last week of sept or 1st week of oct... then letsfinalize where we will play... if ever wala pa tayong masalihan.. i think we can invite different teams (ahem ahem) to play against... mga friendly games perocomplete with refs etc etc... para we could gel na rin as a team... yung sponsors... we can market our team naman lalo na kung competitive line up natin... ihope kingcrux will give the go signal for us to be the bonafide basketball reps of nt philippines... ithink thatd be cool

tapos feature tayo sa ms clavel...nt crew using their hot kicks! sabi nga nila... if you can perform japorms! hehehehe joke lang...

we didn't join MBT because we have some ex-pro's and college-amateur/semi-pro players in our team. now the problem with MBT, they have restriction forteams that have ex-pro's, college-amateur/semi-pro in their roster depending on the division you're team will be playing..
we wanted to join MBT so we can use it as our practice and tune up game for other leagues.. so its pointless for us to join if most of our player can'tplay because of these restrictions..
as far as their league structure is concerned, it's good for entry level teams just to try out the commercial/corporate type atmosphere, its also adifferent thing on how consistent their league rules are being implemented...

i always thought in any level, same thing happens whether it's your intrams, inter brgy or inter color league or up to the pros or even in FIBA/NBA..irregularities with officiating, commitees, organizers etc will always be present..

i almost got kicked out of the playing venue when i reacted to the wrong calls of the referee.

im keeping my fingers crossed, im sure kingcrux could make it happen. we also have a fallback if in case we dont what were wishing for. we could be even be theMS CLAVEL team, sponsored by Nike Philippines or by Green Tee (Nike Park) or Planet Sports Inc (Nike Stadium, Planet Sports, Sports Warehouse). We could alsoask gameville for assistance in making our uniforms. We have plenty of options to explore, we just have to start with the basic---forming a team. We could havea pool of players, ala Team Pilipinas, so that we could start practicing. We could take it from there, decide which league to join and what team name to bearand since we have a pool of players already, we have a guarantee to have enough players on the bench for each game.

team NT might be a dream for us, but we can make it happen if we pull our resources and intellects to work as one.

Go team NikeTLK (pending approval) !

practice na tayo!

i discourage you guys from playing there. i don't want tell the details anymore but if you know somebody who has "a third eye", try to bring themon that gym and let them describe to you on what they'll be seeing.
now if you don't mind what they'll tell you, then go ahead get that sweat and have a great game...

most of the weird stuff that happens there is because of the japanese occupation, that's how old that building is.
