How NY gonna let a dude from the west claim to be the kony?

The impact Kendrick's verse is having is INSANE! And I'm loving it! To make these rappers actually stop laying back and start putting in some effort is great.

No one can hate K Dot for this, its such a tough verse, and this is gunna benefit the whole industry, raising the standards for who survives in the game, hopefully atleas.

****** always tryna act tough

Kendrick not even that type of cat where you'd look "cool" stepping to him like that

Tell this old *** ***** to sit down lol

Cam >> jim anyway

"Meek Mill got a n*** holding his waist on a 4 wheeler, he wants no part of this"
"Wale gonna record a diss poem"
"Soon as Papoose puts those boost mobile minutes on his phone he coming for Kendrick"
"Drake doesn't count. He's not a rapper, he's a lightskin whisperer"

I enjoy listening to asap more than Kendrick, and I think Kendrick best work is section 80 *Shrugs*

Big sean is cool, but son has no passion in his voice. Its almost like that kid in class that reads with no type of emotion or voice fluctuation. Dry as hell.

I don't want to hear you read Beowulf all pale n ****. I'm going to go to sleep.

Thats how Sean sounds a lot. And this verse wasn't any different. He always has bars, but you don't feel them, so they go overlooked.

And when he does get hype, he sounds like a damn child.

I **** with dude though. He got some good songs and some bars. But I can't listen to him for long.

I like him too but it's his flow that drives me crazy. It's like this guy is constantly off beat and just reading but I may just be too old now and it's just my listening that's slow.

You convienently missed the next sentence where I literally state he is docked several levels for not being able to consistently produce music over the long haul. I based the bolded commment off of one of tens of attributes that make a superstar artist (crossover appeal, ear for beats, showmanship, lyrics, hooks, durability, work ethic, ability to make radio songs, ability to put on a live show, energy, consistency, etc). Like that analogy makes no sense based on the context...I said hes all could, should, would and hypotheticals.....I didn't ever say he IS top 10 ever, so how is that crazy? He is the epitome of promising small sample size.

An apt analogy would be like saying Brandon Lloyd, on pure hands/spectacularcatching ability, is a top 10 receiver in the league....nowhere did I say on the whole he is a top 10 receiver inthe NFL . I guess its ridiculous if you take it out of context smh

You don't get it. You shouldn't have mentioned top ten and Jay Electronica in the same sentence.

What would make you say someone without an album with about 20-30 songs total with a good portion of them being forgettable would be top 10 at creating songs :lol

You microwave fans.

And my analogy made perfect sense, because tatke Exhibit C away and what do you have? Deal Moleskin? Shiny Suit Theory? Extra Extra? Most people wouldn't even know who he was.

He's not even the best rapper alive on his own coast...

Hell your idol on this very record idolizing Kurupt. Go take a nap b :lol

Idol? Far from that, I'd never put another man on that type of pedestal.

Kurupt is nice but I haven't checked for dude in forever.

It's not just about rapping better. For me it's the content of the music. The content of Dots music reaches me more than any other rapper. Felt the same about Kanye at first(still listen to Ye) but I no longer see the same person I heard on those first three albums and early mixtapes. And because rap has been so horrible over the years I really don't check for it as much as I use to. I was reluctant to listen to Kendrick at first, but my homie was so sure I would like Section 80, and he was right. He's given me faith that the next generation may not be as lost as it looks. Like Pac said of himself, I believe Kendrick can be the elevation of today's generation, if he can make them listen. He's on the right path at the moment to make them do so.

Ahah K. Dot getting everybody riled up, but I like it. He got twitter going crazy. I'm proud of my ***** Kendrick :hat

so................................................................... Kdot is top 5

This is what rap needed. Everyone being homies with each other is great and all but great **** comes from friendly competition. God I love Kendrick right now.... Dudes need to get in the studio quick so I can hear some responses!

Yo they said A$AP Rocky didn't get a chance to hear this because he was sitting under the hair dryer.... :{:{ :rollin :rollin:rollin:rollin:rollin:rollin:rollin:rollin:rollin:rollin

This had me weeeeeak :rollin and the one about Papoose's fitted cap and nextel chirp :lol :rollin

I'm still in awe of how utterly confused and scrambled Lupe got. He was tweeting (then locked them) as if he was being hit with a stungun at the same time

this King of NY thing is really gaining traction and I FULLY believe he was comparing himself to Biggie right after he compared himself to Pac :lol

OK, ok.... "friends" was an overstatement :lol :lol BUT THE BOTTOM LINE IS (as Ric Flair would say) is that you can't spend your whole career dancing around and avoiding your peers.

And damn that "Ali" movie for misleading me :p
