big sean featuring kendrick lamar and jay electronica "no i.d" freestyle

I still don't get the shot at New York

It was standard braggadocio rap saying he was the best from coast to coast

It was like Wayne was saying he was the best rapper alive

You're putting too much energy into this.

He spit a rhyme claiming to be the new 2pac through the use of old 2pac references.

****** in NY are too basic, they don't understand where the line came from. They're all getting rustled and taking **** to heart because they don't know any better, and can't do anything about it.

New rappers don't know their history, and these older rappers who are getting bent out of shape don't know a damn thing to begin with.

Simple as that brah.

Kendrick spit a double liner. His objective was to rustle jimmies, and thats what he did.

so much of this... I wish we could gather all the rappers in a ustream and explain the line. Lotta fools would like "OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH :o :\ "

Not gonna come in here and pretend to be a huge Kendrick fan love what he did tho dudes are legit flustered

I've seen Love and Hip Hop... Im good

Don't let TV fool you. Joe is on a level. Go Check Mood Music 1-3.

This was not as "friendly" as it's being made out to be. The fire and emphasis in his voice was real. The line where he said "Trying to make sure your core fans never heard of you nuhs, They don't want to hear not one more noun or verb from you nuhs" made it pretty clear that he's serious. Nowadays dudes make a few hits and all of a sudden you hear "I'm the best since blah blah", yet they never really go for the jugular. K Lamar is the first in this new generation to go for the necks of a whole group of dudes.

I ask this question to the true hip hop historians on NT...When was the last time one rapper called out so many people in one song? I can't quite remember to be honest. Sure there was BDP versus Queensbridge, but that was group against group with KRS-One spearheading the Bronx and MC Shan being the spokesman for Queensbridge.

Kendrick - 1)He's the king of NY 2) He's Makaveli's offspring and Makaveli was King New York aka MC New York 3) He was saying that he's Pac and Big, bouncing the comparison of him being Biggie right after comparing himself to 2pac

"I'm uncoachable, i'm unsociable, **** y'all clubs,
**** y'all pictures, yo instagram can gobble these nuts!"

:rollin :rollin :rollin :hat :hat :hat love this line because I feel the exactttt same way :hat

"James Bond'n with none of you ******!" :hat :hat

"I GOT LOVE FOR YOU ALL BUT I'M TRYNA MURDER YOU ******!
TRYNA MAKE SURE YA CORE FAN BASE NEVER HEARD OF YOU ******!
THEY DONT WANNA HEAR ONE MORE NOUN OR VERB FROM YOU ******!"

AHHHHHHH!!!! :x :x :x :hat :hat :hat :hat :hat

This is so crazy dudes who aint been mentioned catching feelings on some "he dissed Mac Miller but not me..that aint fair I hope he gets a chance to diss me on the remix" . Got rappers pressed for a shout out even though it's not a good look :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol

But what I want to know is how Wale will handle this, he tends to take things really really personal.

"uncoachable" mentioning how Phil Jackson described Kobe.

Kobe holds the record for most points at MSG...another subtle reference to king of ny

50 Cent - How to Rob

Dudes talking bout Cole piggy backed for sales but he ended up with the far superior product, and still  ended up outselling Ye.
Superior product is subjective.

The fact that people are calling this a defining moment in rap and verse of the year, shows much the genre sucks now. This is going to force Meek Mill, Mac Miller and other cats to step their game up? Really?

1. nobody has to explain to you why the verse was hot. you listened. you didn't think it was hot...so to you it's not hot. simple.

2. he said "i'm Mackaveli's offspring..i'm the King of NY" in layman's terms "I'm Tupac...I'm Biggie" ....simple.

OMG this is terrible... Could somebody find Ja Rule so I can make sense of all this?

K.DOT just ethered hip-hop. :x

@Elder you're absolutely right. Been trying to tell people since the verse came out. That ain't nothing nice or even "okay" about what he said if you're one of the rappers he mentioned :lol that passion behind what he said combined with what he actually said is borderline diss worthy.

He said he wants to take all of those dudes fan bases, he's trying to make all of them so obsolete that their core fanbase won't want to hear from them anymore...to the point where they don't even wanna hear a syllable from them. That's a diss imo. Especially with the passion and conviction that he delivered those lines with.

Also you all are delusional if you dont think PUSHA TON would body little boy

Push aint phased by this because he not a rapper by trade.

He just happens to rap.

edit
Push have him crying like Wallace off the Wire by the time he finished

y'all sick

lmao

This verse shook up the internets, I won't say it shook up HipHop until somebody says something back lol
