big sean featuring kendrick lamar and jay electronica "no i.d" freestyle

Too much hate on Big Sean in here.

Dude is dope. Detroit was a superb Mixtape, better than most rappers albums in 2012.

Can't wait till HOF. I know it'll be solid now.

Will it still be solid when one of his (admittedly) best verses in a couple of years was on a track that will be left off the album?

Knowing that a track of this caliber was left off just validates the quality of music we can expect to hear on what actually did make the Album.

I never said its gonna be "classic," I said its gonna be solid. IMO I think it will be. It has to be better than Finally Famous that's for sure, that was a let down. Even Detroit was better than that album.

Fabolous is the Vince Carter of rap. I mean every once a while, even to this day, he'll still do something that makes you turn your head. But, as a whole: MEH.

Didn't get left off because it wasn't good enough. It got left off because they couldn't clear some of Dion's samples.

My computer turned itself off when it saw Cassidy's name in here.

busta=legend one of the cleanest flows of all time...plus he has been on way more hit songs than dude kendrick
Other people's opinions bother you? Why?

Cuz that's all it is. You sayin all those rappers better than Kendrick...that's just your opinion too. It holds no more weight than someone who says Kendrick's verse is the verse of the year or the best verse ever.

i look at it like this... the verse was definitely not his best but i dont think that was really his intention with it....the intention was to get the focus back on what hip hop was meant to be and what it started out as not what its become the last 10 years...j****, nas, eminem they're all towards the end of their careers and the crown is there for the taking....and hes putting his name at the top and basically telling everybody to step their game up and flush out the nonsense thats out there right now as well as flush out the rappers that dont really contribute to the art form

I bet you thought his "Look At Me Now" verse was poppin. Busta hasn't been hot for years. His old *** is on YMCMB. He needs to let it go.

just finished listening to Joell Ortiz "Outa Control'..... :x

Dude killed it and IMO was better than Kendricks verse.

Regardless if people are checking for him or not Ortiz is hip hop, most of these "rappers" that were mentioned in K. verse are more pop than anything.

- Why are people so enamored with this record? Well, as far as the mainstream goes, its been years since pure skill has been pushed, and skill is a new concept for casual rap fans, and rap fans who have only deluded themselves to the mainstream so much that anything remotely lyrical stands out. It just so happens that Kendrick is really spitting, so there's merit in his praise.

Then the reason for your complaint is?

LOL, I started it off with that question cause there's quite a few subtle and direct "what's so good about Kendrick's verse?" comments in here.

And after getting another look and Savage Legend's list, I still stand by my original statement, and I'll actually add Method Man to that list. So a new project from Kendrick would be more anticipated from me more than anyone on that list not named Jay, Nas, or GFK. I won't tolerate even the thought of GFK slander even. I'll put him against all your past, present, and future favorites.

Dudes need to listen to There Is No Competition 2 & The Soul Tape if y'all hatin on Fab

It's not about responding to THIS track... It's about responding musically here on out with constant quality verses.

That's what he's talking about... Bring your A game EVERY TIME you grab a pen.

THIS this this this this this!!!

It makes no sense to make a response rap..just bring your music up to par. Seymore CAKE gets it.

Word I'm a fan of dude, I dont get the hate, but I wont challenge it. That album cover is triddash though, between this, Born Sinner, and Yeezus, its just the year of terrible album covers.
I thought Big Sean did work.
As did I but meh.
