big sean featuring kendrick lamar and jay electronica "no i.d" freestyle

So we're gonna act like Kendrick wasn't trolling now...
The King Of NY line is a bit trollish, but I'm already over that. What's more important is the dudes he called out, and why most of them taking so long to respond.

I think they're taking their time because it was a hot verse. Kendrick had time to whip that up. You gotta come correct when someone calls you out in that manner. You can't be all gun-ho rowdy rowdy and rush into the booth and just throw something together like Jay did with "Super Ugly" :lol

Going through this thread is looking worse than passing a kidney stone while having a migraine and explosive diarrhea. So much slander and libel in here. I can't touch this Wu talk

Y'all people bored. I haven't even been on twitter ...that quote is false...I never wrote it...

This was brilliant...

Kendrick is the only "new *****" to be able to get away with this...

Wale - is wack, is always angry, hater incarnate, rappin *** rapper, he wants the attention

Big KRIT - who is this guy?, country, Compaq Presario production

Mac Miller - corny, white rapper, look at his fanbase, what does he/they know?

Meek Mills -

Tyler - trollin, can't take serious, shock value questions

Big Sean - delivery is weak, laughable attempt to sound tough, someone turn on the bass boost

Pusha T - old, desperate, trying to become relevant/relive his youth

Jay Electronica - illuminati, power move by the Rothschilds, suspicion

ASAP - already braggadocious, not hip-hop enough, needs to be G checked for authenticity

Drake - this is not you, part-time rapper, you're from Toronto tho...

J. Cole maybe could have done this and gotten a similar response as Kdot, but I just don't see him taking that risk. Also he doesn't have a team like Black Hippy to call to arms if **** gets more serious

Hip-hop responds to Kendrick Lamar's 'Control' verse

MCs shoot back at Kendrick Lamar after hearing his chorus in Big Sean's 'Control.'

Kendrick Lamar started a hip-hop battle royale Monday when he called out rappers by name with his verse in Big Sean's Control.

Lamar dropped the gauntlet with a chorus that included these lyrics: "I'm usually homeboys with the same n----- I'm rhymin' with/But this is hip-hop and them n----- should know what time it is/And that goes for Jermaine Cole, Big K.R.I.T., Wale/Pusha T, Meek Mill, A$AP Rocky, Drake/Big Sean, Jay Electron', Tyler, Mac Miller/I got love for you all but I'm tryna murder you n-----."

By Wednesday, all sorts of artists, including Lupe Fiasco and B.o.B., had taken the challenge. (Note: Links lead to audio with explicit language.)

In SLR 2, Lupe Fiasco rapped, "N---- you ain't Nas, n---- you ain't Jay Z/You will respect me, you will reject me/But I've done so much, no matter how far you go, you will reflect me

B.o.B.'s How 2 Rap included not only his boasts — "I know that I'm shinin', I know that I'm shinin'/Don't worry, 'cause you can find shade in my shadow" — but also his instrumental prowess, when he launched into a guitar solo after saying, "Give me my guitar pick, I'll show you s---."

In Outta Control (Response to Kendrick Lamar), Brooklyn MC Joell Ortiz responded, "Homey, you ain't the king of New York, you're the next thing on my fork."

On Tuesday, ICE T tweeted: "I love how ONE verse woke Hip Hop the F--- up. It's been a LONG time since people talked about ANYTHING someone said in their rhyme." In later tweets, he added, "I'm sure there's gonna be a lot of replies and diss tracks. Don't trip. It's just Hip Hop. ... Hey, Hip Hop stripes are born in battle. Me and LL (Cool J) did our thing back in the day. It's part of the game."

I understand that, but Joell came out with a dope comeback and it took no time.

I bet they all having a meeting right now. Exept Mac Miller & Tyler didn't get an invite.

This is my list
1. K. Dot
2. Los
3. Cass
4.Mickey Factz
5. Joell

I like how some old heads are supporting this move for the culture

Yeah I agree. I just hope these dudes don't wait till 6 months from now and drop some subliminal.
:lol :lol :{

My views regarding the Control track and the people in which Kendrick called out is strategically ingenuous. The guys who he named dropped in the song are all down playing it off while the people who weren't mentioned feel some type of way.Meek Mill went on the say that " Ya'll can run that backpack while he runs the streets" but the only thing is that Kendrick has proven to capture both audience which makes him mainstream. Jay Electronica then goes on to say that he acknowledges the attention the record is receiving but then hides behind the fact that he was unaware that Kendrick was on the track till the track was getting mixed and that response solidified that rappers are scared to do tracks with him. I also think it's so funny that Drake and J Cole both down played it as well and it seems to me that these guys are too shook to respond but hey I guess we will have to wait to see. This topic has me feeling like hip-hop is headed back to a Golden Era" but then I heard "Power Circle" and seen how Kendrick out rapped MMG on their verses lol. Lastly, can someone please tell me why Joe Budden is the savior of New York when last time I checked he was blackballed and dissed by the King Of New York (Jay-Z).

Must I remind them:

Your opinion lost a lot of credibility when you wrote off Krit because YOU don't know him. Just because youre not aware doesn't mean he isn't great. Go let the radio tell you whats good.

Not my opinion, my comments were just genralizations

Don't drink the industry kool aid.

They trying to make hip hop rivalry a thing again.

Jay Electronica should have went first, then finish with K.Dot. It woulda had that ying and yang balance.

I really don't know of Big Sean like that or even know why he is up there with them like that. His flows are so elementary and more braggart than anything to me.

If you don't know Big Sean like that, then how can you come up with that generalization about him?

This is the industry bruh.

What you put out is what you are known for,

And the ten songs I've heard him on are enough for me ***** that he is a certain kinda rapper.

Now I know cats be on this whole
"I rappin a certain way to get money and doing real stuff over wherever"

but me as a consumer of hip hop don't have to listen to somebody just to give them a chance.

on the real papoose can have the best frestyle/off the top of the head song than any other ny artist thats new.

also i never thought i live the day a LA N claim King of NY.
pimp.gif

 somewhere pac is proud.

one last note all of these bums that have responded is pathetic (talking bout music wise). Kdot got these NY N's workin. He winnin.
Pac was born in NY though and he damn sure wasn't from LA. He grew up everywhere :lol

Yall dudes should learn something about the dude and what he was actually about. He got the battery put in his back for that whole east coast vs. west coast nonsense.

Say what you want about Big Sean but he stepped his bar game up lately. I used to think he was wack but after I heard Clique and Detroit(which is a classic), I've been a fan

Man I know he is irrelevant but I will always Love Cass. He can rap about the same **** for the rest of his life.

That boy got bars!!! :hat :hat
