Unfortunetly, thats who's always on the screen. I believe there are 3 different types of African Americans in America but thats a hard convo to have on NT.

Again, everyone race has a class of degenerates… we are still the most copied and envied race on this planet.

I don’t understand why black folks care about being liked by those people. Don’t like us? We don’t like y’all

I'm gonna challenge you to find a way to communicate this safely cuz I'm mad interested.

Don't worry about offending me, but I understand your pause in having such a discussion in an open space.

I was gonna quote DC and confirm the 1st tweet to he accurate as **** but didn't see the value. But yeah, it's accurate as ****. Even at work...I've been at my job almost 10 years now...multiple promotions. There's a (black) lady whose been there more than 30 years. And we've shared multiple moments shading new (black) hires who aren't good workers...rather that be showing up late, not dressing professionally or just not doing their job. And it never fails in those moments that we mention "and of course it had to be one of us"...people who clearly are doing well enough to be at the job for an extended period of time still worrying how others represent us.

It's impossible to shake. I don't think I'll ever have a moment where I'm not aware of how what I'm doing will be applied to other people who look like me. Just won't happen.

…. And who cares? We’re still the most copied and emulated. Wealthy people do more dirt than anyone.

Some of “us” are so concerned about acceptance, but don’t even have knowledge of self. I laugh at those folks.

Who cares what people think of you. Live your and move on. Wasting energy

Let’s have it champ. This is the Black Culture Thread…….this is the best place for US to have that conversation.

I think the real problem his is the fact that most people think the Homestead Act was SPECIFICALLY and/or EXCLUSIVELY to give black people land. I dont think it ever really was.

interesting viewpoint.

if true, we need to stop saying and regurgitating NEVER got ANY land, if thats not what we mean

right HankHill HankHill ??

i think this issue in the admission that the we got something, in this case, LAND. brings up questions of why didnt we build wealth with it?

questions we dont want to answer seeing that our culture shies away from accountability

its far too attractive to beat the drum of woe is me, they stole, they took, they never gave, than to reflect on what we can do better in the future built off our past mistakes or missteps with what we DID get.

our culture has an infatuation with the struggle. our triumphs and perseverance has little to no interest in contrast with what we constantly focus on.

I had no problems with blue Ivy‘s dress other than the top with all her cleavage out basically. Shoulder and bosom should’ve been covered a bit but other than that, it was fine.

But again, we live in world where dudes walk around wearing saggy s***y draws, women and little girls wear tight a***, yeast infection shorts/pants, etc so, whatever.

Point of no return
