Black Culture Discussion Thread

It's funny watching the hypocritical shift on NT from the female appreciation threads etc to what it is now. People who grew up in the era where people were hype over tongue rings, thongs/low rise jeans and BET uncut clutching pearls now.

Sexy redd is a soft Target. Rapper lyrics in general are scrutinized more than singers etc.

This lady has 42 million followers on IG. Sexy redd has 5

I would assume black folks don't even know who the hell that is.

That might be why we don't talk about her.

A couple of things……….

1. Sexy Redd, Latto, Glorilla, etc……..all one in the same to me. A bunch of ratchet, non-feminine black females that continue to negatively impact the black female image. These so called women and their music brings a negative influence to black culture…..specifically young black girls.

2. How any man, let alone any man in this thread that’s suppose to represent positivity and a sense of knowledge knowingly admits to listening to Sexy Redd around other black men, then proceeds to talk a about popping bottles in the process is a lost cause, and a danger to the black community. Like I said in here earlier……….we’ve been infiltrated.

3. This is the “Black Culture Thread”………not sure why folks continue to post non-black people, particularly some no name white chick with 40 plus million followers on social media that black people don’t care about. I need brothas on here to get focused and start thinking about the task at hand……….that goes especially for anybody that openly admits to listening to Sexy Redd, completely unacceptable.

If you actually listen Glorilla, she ain't on none of that ****. Po' Glo was just in the wrong place at the wrong time.

One time I was playing Among Us, another player caught me red handed, I just accused them first, gaslighted him and everyone went for it. I would never fall for such tho.......

Y'all restoring the feeling from the ez board days

Saying we got our 40 acres in reference to the Homestead Act (whcih didn't give us any property when it was created), is called conflating.

I know it took a while, but I'm glad you realize how that didn't make sense. I'm proud of your progress.

here is a copy of my ancestors land grant, you know the Act you said didnt give us any property...

oh and look, there's that date again, 1862. hmm....

you know, you could ask HOW, instead of telling me what you THINK you know. thats always an option.

im tired of Youtube scholars like HankHill HankHill being the ignorant voice of our culture, far too willing to speak without doing any actual research for themselves. its old and tired, and time out for minds like his.

Here is a clip of MLK saying we never got any land....

Claud Anderson saying it....

Of COURSE some us got free land. We were owed LAND and REPARATIONS. Tons of money and land allocated everywhere except to us. I don’t think anyone ever denied that we got land.

It was just in no comparison to the size and amount white folks got

moving the goal post i see.

comparison of what they got vs us is FAR from we didnt get anything

I think the real problem his is the fact that most people think the Homestead Act was SPECIFICALLY and/or EXCLUSIVELY to give black people land. I dont think it ever really was.

This must have extended from a previous beef because ain't no damn way yall dudes going at eachother's throats like that over some damn Homestead Act.
I'm saying. Dude was wrong, got banned from the thread, and is still at it. It aint that serious.

Could be. I see it as brothas just being competitive with each each other and just representing for the culture. Gotta back up what you say at times.
