Eh.  I'm never going to make a "profit" from shoes because I wear them all.  I only doubled up on these so I can wear those after I wear the 1st one out.

If you think tying up 17x200 for 2 years, so you can make 17x400  because it's effortless is a "good" investment, have at it.

I'd rather do 17x200 and sell right away @ 17x250.

If I'm tying up $3400 to make $3400, it isn't going to be on a 2 year time-frame.

That may be an investment, just not a smart one based on HOPE of a high residual value on sneakers.

Wait, you trying say someone with 5-10+ bred 11's unloading them now WON'T make a decent profit? 

They might, but not what they thought.  Honestly, how many times did Bred 11's release (restock)?  At a certain point demand drops becasue more and more people have them.  If the re-sale business model worked across the board then the term "wholesale" would never exist.  Not saying all, but most dudes barely take into account overhead when they try to flip a shoe.  My time, gas and effort is worth more than 40-50 bucks over retail.  Again, not knocking reseller, cause honestly I would have missed out completely on a couple of releases I wanted( maybe even this one).   Just tired of seeing multiple new ebay accounts with every new release.
