Agreed. Although I did like all of the political stuff in this one. Added a layer of complexity to the show beyond the gangster stuff. Love that Nucky is making moves to influence who the president and VP are going to be. Also interesting to see past plot lines get picked up in this one -- like Gillian giving Jimmy the intel on Luciano. And, as always, Van Alden is one weird dude. Stuff is only going to heat up going forward, with Jimmy back in AC.

Why did Margaret have to open that damn book? Shortie's in deep now, no turning back... and I am glad Nelson sent the money back to Jimmy's wife, that was the Christian thing to do.

This is a great show, it has all the emotional depth the Sopranos lacked.

This ep was superb. Just from foreseeing how things would go down when Eli said he'd collect from the casino, the whole Nucky !+$%$@@@ on Jimmy thinking he didn't contact or send money to his fam. Shroeder getting spooked by the phone call, then eventually being the dummy she is opening the ledger. Dope Rothstein scene !+$%$@@@ on lawyers

The comment Nucky made about him being Irish and them Italian stung and you could see it.
He knew Margaret was going to open the book. She's far from innocent and I hope that people are starting to realize this.

I got a question though, Jimmy asked his moms to tell him bout Lucky. As far as I recall, the show never showed an instance of his moms telling Jimmy bout Lucky. I guess we could assume from that convo that she told Jimmy at some point. My question is, was Jimmys mom really feeling Lucky or did she just get close to Lucky so she can get info from him regarding their plans in AC.

My mind is wild blown if she slept with him just to help out her son, she is about as G as a female gets in those times.
