Boozer is the top PF in the league

Boozer plays defense? Since when.

My main argument for him not being better than Brand.

Dude Boozer averages a block every 50 games..

i'd probably say the same order with dirk, brand, and maybe boozer interchangeable because they play differently, but after marion i'd give the nodto zach randolph because he's been pretty solid this season averaging 19-14. only problems are his TO and fg %.

Yea I'll agree that Brand and Boozer are pretty close

But I refuse to agree that Dirk is better than Boozer...

Duncan > Garnett > Boozer > Dirk > Brand > Bosh > Marion >

I'd go with this except for I'd move dirk behind bosh

Pretty much my arguement as well.

Brand and Boozer are similar, but two key things jump out at me looking at the numbers.

Brand shoots FT's consistently at 75%. Boozer barely cracks 70%, if that.

Brand averages 2 blocks, borderline 3 blocks a game. Boozer basically does average a block every 50 games.

Chris is my boy, but you've absolultely lost your damn mind...

There are NOT 6 PFs in the NBA better than Dirk Nowitzki. Stop it.

That is true.

I like Bosh and all, but he's definitely at the end taking into consideration the mentioned PF's.

IMO, I'd go with:

Duncan > KG > Dirk = Brand (I just can't choose one over the other) > Boozer > Marion > Bosh

Duncan > KG > Dirk = Brand (I just can't choose one over the other) > Boozer > Marion > Bosh

That's a list I'm confortable agreeing with...

People actually think Boozer is better than Dirk...

this is how my list would go.

i don't even really consider Dirk is a 4 so much as a tall 2, but i'd still slot him after boozer, if it matters.

Duncan > Garnett > Boozer > Brand > Zach > Bosh > Marion > *

Booz doesn't play D. I'd still take him over Bosh though, but not by much.

Duncan>KG>Boozer>Dirk>Brand>Sheed>Bosh

and the Lakers passed up on him....Ridiculous Kupchak
So did every team. Jazz could have had him originally, But Curtis Borchardt was just too hard to pass up.

Of course your going to say that look at ur screen name...

dirk only gets 19&8
boozer gets 25&11

I'm sorry if your a top 5 pf you should average 10 boards a game come on...thats just what a pf does...and he's a 7 footer...dirk is soft and he alwayshas been...

You probably think dirk is the best player on his team too

1.KG
2.Duncan
3.Dirk (Though this may change if Dallas choke again.)
4.Bosh
5.Brand
6.Boozer
7.Marion
8.Healthy Jermaine O'neal (Suprised nobody has even mentioned him.)
9.The Rest

So my username means I'm not realistic about what Dirk is and what he isn't?

You're going to use an 8 game sample from this season as your justification for Boozer over Dirk?
laugh.gif
Ok...

Nevermind the fact that Dirk averaged 9+ rebounds a game for most of his career, on very good rebounding teams in Dallas...If you play PF, you have to grab 10+boards a game? Ok, nevermind taking into account the team and how well players around them rebound...

You dudes get too caught up in one bad playoff series. But it's whatever. I don't think Boozer is a better player than Dirk, at all. But we'llagree to disagree. Do I think Dirk is the best player on the Mavericks? Yeah, I do. But Josh Howard is quickly closing that gap. Dirk hasn't played wellthis year, but I think you're kidding yourself if you don't think he'll get back to the 24-25 ppg, 9 rpg averages that he's consistently put upsince 2001.

Just for the record...

Dirk Career
22 points, 8.5 boards
Playoffs: 25+ points, 11+ rebounds...

Boozer
16 and 10
Playoffs: 23 and 12

Again, yall get too caught up in the Golden State series...

Oh, Dirk blocks almost twice as many shots as Boozer, too...

^ so one block in 25 games then instead of 50?
laugh.gif

Again, i stress that Boozer is one of the best decision makers in the leauge for his position. He seems to always make that right play on O. I dont know if hesbetter than dirk, its tough to say. Personally, Dirk would be my choice, but i would never count out Boozer.

But Boozer is PRESENTLY a top 5 PF, debatably top 4 PF.

LOL Stop it...Dirk blocks a shot a game.

I'd probably rank the top 5: Duncan, Garnett, Dirk, Brand (healthy), Boozer
