BrandBlack

My first pair don't come in until Saturday. T'was a long wait, but was under $100 so worth the wait. Good that I'll be able to see how these feel/fit before the next drop so I'll know if I'll dive in on a second pair or not.
Where'd you get them for under $100?? That's a deal I can get on board with

It's not a shoe I need multiples of. I might miss them once my pair dies out, but I prefer the Drive and Curry 1.

That said, it is an excellent overall performance shoe that I think a lot of people will be impressed with, and I can't point to anything wrong with them.

Thanks guys (@DeezyVSOP, @duke40, and @george michael).

Looking forward to your review Duke.  I'm not discrediting NW btw, I just like to see where different reviewers and hoopers stand on aspects of performance kicks for comparison.
I think Nightwing does an excellent job and I agree with his reviews most of the time however with the JC2 his euphoric review maybe had something to do with the fact that he was involved in the making process (and I totally understand that). The JC2s are pretty dope shoes no doubt, especially for an underdog company,  however imo they are not really better than some of the other top basketball sneakers out there. They sure feel amazing on foot and look damn cool but performance wise they are not some next level innovation or anything like that... I'm just saying this because I think some of us expected these to be a game changer after NWs review.

Well said, very well said. Pretty much sums it up. I learn a lot from NW's reviews, but I disagree with him plenty and that's to be expected.

I think it's a preference thing more than anything else. To me, the CF Drive/Curry 1, XX9 and JC2 are all on the same tier. There just aren't any issues with any of them when I lace them up. I prefer the UA shoes and the XX9 over the JC2, but I could easily see someone saying they like the JC2 over others.

What really is impressive is this is BB's second sig. shoe. Only their second signature entry and it's already being mentioned alongside the Jordan XX9. That is absolutely incredible to me and it can't be stated enough. It's a great shoe on it's own, but considering how young BB is, it just reminds me of what UA is doing. These are performance models that prioritized performance and didn't compromise any aspect really for the sake of visual appeal. Too many, far too many shoes nowadays charge way too much money for shoes that look good but sacrificed performance in order to achieve that.

Just got my JC2s in from Jacksthreads and I have to say I'm really impressed. Colour way is super clean and the step in comfort is really nice. Was worried about the sizing from previous posts but they fit pretty good. I have wide feet and usually have to go up half a size in KDs/Lebrons. The JC2s fit perfectly width wise but have a little space length wise. Can't wait to hoop in these.

I wonder how the Crazy Light Boost 2015 will match up with these. Both are $140 retail. Will have to wait until July 1st to find out.

Crazy Light Boost to me were super underwhelming. Will the 2015 stay at $140 with the Primeknit?? But the boost is nothing like in runners so both those and the Rose 5 felt decent but weren't great for me.

first thing I thought. mirco g is a lot firmer

I would agree, but I wouldn't say a lot firmer just because I feel like someone would read that and assume micro G is super firm. But definitely firmer than Jetlon and that's why I prefer it. I know a ton of people would prefer Jetlon though. Both great.

I think weartesters confirmed $140 for 2015 CLB.

Yep, $140 for CLBoost. And NO FOREFOOT BOOST - unless they added it after all star weekend. Pair I tried on didn't have it. But the heel puck is HUGE - Pure Boost size.

Hello, I asked this a few times on NT, I dont know if people in this topic know me but here it is, I'm from France and to get those kind of rare shoes (J28 with the shroud, UA Clutchfit E24, etc) it's complicated.

Brandblack doesnt ship to France and doenst accept foreigner credit card. Can someone help me to purchase the JC2 burgundy, it will be awesomely great. I have paypal!

Thanks!

Weartesters said that the new colorways were supposed to release on Brandblack.com today.  I haven't seen it on their website.  Does anyone know if they are in fact releasing today?  And does anyone know if Finishline.com will have them as well??  Looking to grab the blackout pair, but would like to use my Winner's Circle reward.

12 PM pacific, 3 PM eastern is when they will be up on the brandblack website.  Don't think they are going to be on finishline but it's worth a shot to check around that time.

Who carries this brand? I hear finishline but i didn't see them on the site. I watched a review and he had the BHM color way but haven't seen it anywhere else. I tried the brand black website and they only have black/red and white/blue color ways and both of them are on back order....where are these shies actually available?

The Black/navy has the translucent sole or the one on the website is the actual one now?

Burgundy going fast.

Just ordered the Burgundy pair. Couldn't decide on sizing so I went with the same size as my Curry 1, size 11. Think I will use them for casual wear if they are big.
