As a religious person, I definitely agree he was being insensitive, unremorseful, and downright foolish. I don't care how much faith you have, you still have to have awareness of the society you're residing in.

I know he was trying to "combat evil" with the word of God, but in the Bible it also states following the laws of your land. While it may not be illegal in the court system, we all know in the court of public opinion and jurors will look at the lack of etiquette.
