Bruh...Tyga....Hair Gains....Vol. Jamie Would Be Proud

Oh. :lol

Well how is any of this roasting a new phenomenon to you? Or more accurately, why are you surprised by or acting as if this is not par for the course in our community? In my experience there are a few things that are automatic for a roast by black folks:

--hair struggles
--lack of rhythm
--trying too hard (to be stylish, funny, cute, etc.)

I'm very aware of it ...I just wanna kno why it's so important ...ya line gon receed fam that's life

Mane, to me, and to me only, I don't think the recession is funny, like fam said, it's life, but what is entirely too funny in my opinion is the lengths that folks will go to for the cover-up. The fight these gentlemen put up is real, either take it all off, or cut it really low, but when dudes are out here priming and painting their scalps then it gets really funny to me. Hey, if you have the resources to get procedures done, more power to you, but when you have to resort to sorcery, walk away.

I agree. I only laugh at cats who use to always go to the barber to get fresh cuts weekly who are now seeing the long term effects of it now.I remember this dude use to clown cats for not having a fresh lineups and such. Dudes hairline is receding and he has his barber cutting it as weird angles to hide it. :rollin

Yeah man used to get cut every Friday thinking I was doing it till I realized my corners were slightly different every week :{

Switched barbers and started getting cut every 3 weeks. Sometimes once a month

Ive heard numerous stories and it cant be black ice

Man y'all remember that kid that posted in the old hypebeast thread? His hairline was messed up and somebody made a gif :rollin it was hilarious

As an aside, does anybody else notice in Ol boy's "glamour shot" that he is rocking a polo shirt under his sweater, with a damn tie? For that tacky infraction he deserves all of his follicular misgivings.

Just horrific. Thought he was on his "grown man tip"

:lol

I remember when Onyx first dropped, had half my high school rocking baldies.

It's crazy how cats that could grow hair at anytime were rocking "baldies" in the 90's.

My mans got tight knowing Jada could easily grow hair this whole time :lol. Said it wasn't fair.

Yep. The Fab Five stayed rockin' the chrome domes too only to end up growing their hair back later with crispy lines. It was stylish back in the 90's to do the bald thing even if you didn't have to. Joe Smith and a lot of his Terrapin teammates did and I even remember a couple of cats from UNC doing it as well just to name a few. The MJ influence was that strong.
