My edges are thin but the one time I got iced it looked worse than a competent barber working the edges w/o ice. Same competent barber used it on my nephew that actually has extra hairline in certain spots and it actually looked fire, couldn't tell it was there. It's not for every barber.

I been sneak Black Iced before too, if your **** is dripping, it ain't the original Black Ice or they've since changed their formula, but I think yall's barbers just on some cheap ish. That stuff sets and doesn't run or get on shirt collars or pillows or nothing even if you hoop after you're fine. And it eventually just fades off but I never remember seeing it drip or run off. Was watching NBA on TNT and my homegirl sees Kenny Smith and says "who is this is old dude and why he got that fake lineup like that". I thought it looked kinda natural, like a skinned look. I'm not even gonna say what she claimed made it obvious lol
It got me to thinking tho, it seemed like dude aged like crazy over the course of a few years bc I don't recall him looking that old just a handful of years back, then I realized that he went through a messy divorce and that stress probably aged him

I have a dude at my job who literally has the exact same lineup and dam near cut. His is dumb noticeable that he gets hit with the black tar and we all just shake our heads when he comes around.

My barber has gotten lazy and I sorta wanna find a new one but man. The prices some of these places charge in the DMV is insane. I just want a taper and fade the neck. Don’t even have a beard just a goatee and they wanna hit your head over that

All even is easy to cut. Lining up can be tricky but most can get it with some practice. Fading takes skill/talent, I wouldn't recommend that to everyone.

That’s literally balding out a small square with the trimmer then just hitting it with your clipper closed then open guard

I might rock a 1 all over with a bald taper or keep a 1 1/2 on top and bald fade the sides and back
