My fades last 3-4 days tops cuz my hair grows fast. Learning to cut was a must for me

I pay 40 as well including tip. Same barber for 15 years. If I had to go to another barber probably would not pay the 40 though.

I'm so glad I have locs but I def dealt with some stylist trying to charge bank on a simple style and retwist while I have homegirls who do a better job for less (and some pipe).

Went back to my old neighborhood and pay my Dominican barber for a fade--$30 w/tip.
I have a straight hair and he does a masterful job.
BTW, anyone in the NYC area know someone who can braid hair?

Was watching NBA on TNT and my homegirl sees Kenny Smith and says "who is this is old dude and why he got that fake lineup like that". I thought it looked kinda natural, like a skinned look. I'm not even gonna say what she claimed made it obvious lol
It got me to thinking tho, it seemed like dude aged like crazy over the course of a few years bc I don't recall him looking that old just a handful of years back, then I realized that he went through a messy divorce and that stress probably aged him

I worked with a dude who would die his hair to cover the thinning areas and the gray, well it was Bahrain so it was always hot, so naturally you’re going to sweat from the scalp, well I don’t know if it was a bad dye job or what but he would swear black sweat and we just didn’t have the heart to tell him. I’m glad the Jet has people concerned about him.

My barber charges me $20 that's with a line down the side + Cleans my eyebrows.....and he charges most other cuttys flat$25 to just sit in his seat.....dude is a magician.... always give him $30 ...$50 for Xmas-New years/Father's day/Thanksgiving...shout out to titi on Otis in Corona

All depends on who does them and the length.
Ex of mine used to retwist and style in less than 2 hours. I think the quickest she did it was like an hour and a half.

The actual retest shouldn’t take more than an hour. Shampooing, conditioning and sitting under the dryer may make it two hours
