Casino, Goodfellas, or Scarface?

Goodfellas out of those choices.

Scarface isn't overrated to me, but the story and Pacino's character are too exaggerated and over the top for my tastes. It's style is clear anddone well, but compared to the other choices, it just isn't as polished and isn't my top choice.

scarface was probably one of the earliest ones that everybody enjoyed. Now I am sick of watching it but still give it the credit it deserves. the other moviesare newer and I personally find myself being able to watch them more often at times. Each has their own unique style and enjoy watching them all.

Can't lump Godfather in there with those movies cause it wouldn't even be a contest. Godfather is one of the greatest MOVIES of all time lol

But as far as the 3. Its a toss up between Goodfellas and Casino.

Scarface is more of a cult classic than a good film. If you break it down its actually a horrible movie, but the folloing that it has as well as thesignificance in pop culture you see past all that.

Out of those 3 i got it:

Casino
Goodfellas
Scarface

But A Bronx Tale got so much more accomplished as a film to me.

The cinematography in Casino and Goodfellas was mind blowing but the script, realism, characters, plot and depth of ABT was miles ahead of all three films.

For me in the exact order as listed in the thread title.

Casino imo really got in to details of the lifestyle along with actual characters

Goodfellas was more on a personal level as this group on the come up were kinda outsiders

Scarface although entertaining was more of a survival of the fittest drug kingpin rags to riches than the ultimate gangster flick.

Also there's a difference between gangster and mobster.
