I picked up my pair from the Champs in the Woodfield Mall in Schaumburg, IL. I had my girl call to put them on hold for me and went & scooped them up. That pic reminds of the good ol days of the NBA Ninja.

Just before I got married, I stood outside MSG in NYC had 2 center court seats to see the Knicks vs 76'ers...out from the subway walks out Sir Charles with his gym bag & walkman on...I swear the dude was no more that 6'2" to me...As it turned out, I had to trade my 2 great tickets to a scalper for a pr of sold out Michael Bolton concert @ Paramount....

I still regret doing it, but it was my wife's birthday. Both events were sold out, & I bummed out!!

Okay let me clear up a few things for my Chi heads. I had my girl check with Champs in Woodfield last week and the lady told her that they were popped and were gettin some more in on Wednesday. She or I couldn't make it out there Wednesday so I had her call yesterday and they had a size 11 left which was the display model. The chick held the shoe for me last nite until I came and got it. I didn't ask if they had anymore sizes, but I'm assuming they didn't becuz I got the display model. I don't know if or even when they are going to get anymore. Broti, it took me about 45-50 minutes to get there yesterday and this was @ about 6 in the evening. It was worth the trip though. I had to go that way anyway since my barber is in Maywood. I normally don't rock my new kicks the very next day, but these are classic and I'm rockin these today as well as the rest of the weekend. Hope this clears things up.

i took the L and copped these in the city (NY) and paid the tax... i coulda waited for em to come around me in NJ and not pay tax but there was a couple places in NJ that got em thas like an hour away and even tho its tax free its really not that serious to drive the distance... im at work rite now so later tonite ill edit this post with pics...
