Eddie Vanderdoes Bio
Position: DT
School: UCLA
College Experience: Redshirt Junior
Height: 6-3
Weight: 305 lbs.
Strengths
Great hands help him to shed blockers in the run game.
Has exceptional balance and can hand fight while strafing down the line of scrimmage. (Pro Football Focus)
Versatile defender, played multiple positions at UCLA.
Offers a decent pass rush in addition to superior run defense.
Weaknesses
Carries injury concerns after torn ACL in 2015.
Needs to eliminate 15-20 pounds to play at an optimal level. (NFL)
Lack of conditioning leads to struggles later in games.
Often slow to respond to snap with first move off the line.
He was playing at 340 when he was at UCLA. He's dropped that weight now and he's in shape at 303 (per Tafur). He would have been gone in the first two rounds last year if he hadn't had that ACL tear.
David Sharpe Bio
Position: OT
School: Florida
College Experience: Junior
Height: 6-6
Weight: 343 lbs.
Strengths
Massive offensive line prospect who can match up with any opponent in a battle of power.
Whether in the ground game or in pass protection, getting his hands inside the framework of the defender likely means it's game over.
Weaknesses
With impressive size and strength comes a deficiency in movement ability.
May be forced to transition inside to guard, where he can use that power within more confined spaces and wouldn't have to worry about speed rushers beating him around the edge.
He's nearly blind in one eye.
Marquel Lee Bio:
Position: LB
School: Wake Forest
College Experience: Senior
Height: 6-3
Weight: 240 lbs.
Strengths
Produced at a high level for the better part of the last three seasons at Wake Forest.
Stout run defender both with physicality on the inside and when forced to the sideline.
Can be an effective blitzer from the second level.
Weaknesses
Lack of coverage impact may limit how much he can be on the field, and especially so with the league that's seen the nickel become more of a base defense than sub package.
Athleticism, in terms of both speed and short-area quickness, leaves something to be desired.
