 are you on Sactown Royalty..................

Congrats.  Definitely depressing to know the Sonics aren't going to be back like we all expected.  But in a vacuum it is nice to know that the Sacramento Kings aren't going away.

Also that the Maloofs are gone.  Can the new owner fire the entire management staff, please?

There really are a underrated amount of Kings fans all over the place, since Sacramento, typically speaking, isn't the city that you grow up in and then stick around once you get older. Everyone ends up leaving for college and then establishing their lives elsewhere.

Hopefully this changes in our lifetime

Are there any indications that the maloofs are going to accept?
Other than they're broke & won't have a fanbase if they maintain the team, it's highly unlikely they won't reject Sacramento's offer. Unless their vendetta against KJ is that severe, I don't see how they don't sell.

If their hatred for Sacramento and KJ is that severe.... I might actually applaud them

They'd literally be taking their grudge to their graves

I think they'll fund it with the Zing Vodka, or whatever they're doing now. I think George was trying to use the Kings to promote the Palms for a while at first. After he realized what a great real estate builder he was, he stopped advertising in Sacramento and let it fail on its own.

Seriously, I can't believe how much self promotion they do on their Twitter pages. It's all about how many music videos they've been in.

Napear is having multiple orgasms on the radio right now..He's ecstatic he gets to keep his job..

seriously. he had a change of attitude from this time last year. when they discussing the Anaheim move, he went on KNBR speaking as an employee of the Maloofs, saying its a business decision and such.

In respect to that, it was a business decision. This time, however, was personal. I get that they had an agreement, but to write a letter and urge the owners to hurry up and finalize the deal (without completely reviewing everything) is just disgraceful.

And NobleKane, we beat the Warriors three times this year ;) WE should be moving on to the second round :lol

I don't kn ow what to do with my arms
im not even a kings fan and i went numb in the arms lol

heres to many more years to a kings lakers and kings warriors rivalry...

you all need to get good now tho lol

congrats to kings fans everywhere
I don't think people understand just how crippling and toxic the Maloofs have directly been to the performance of this team.

We'll for sure not be as terrible as we are right now.

But I am a little nervous for the off season since I don't think Vivek & friends can be officially owners till like July, after free agency and the draft has already started.

Whatever, I'm willing to give this season a mulligan

I'm speaking about the mood before his statement. Folks involved characterizing rest of process as a mere formality.

I'll say this about Hansen's claim that fight isn't over:no one on NBA or Sac side I spoke with seemed remotely concerned about his reaction

This actually kinda worries, me only because back in January Seattle folks were already celebrating and was reported to be at "1st and goal"

and look where we are now......

Regardless tho, we actually officially have the backing of the NBA now, so I'm not to worried.

Good for Chris Hansen tho, that guy is a boss... hopefully he gets basketball back in Seattle soon.
