I still can't process how it's gonna feel to have the Kings Maloof-free.

From the Kings moving to Anaheim, to hoping they just stay with the Maloofs owning the team still, to thinking Seattle was stealing the Kings, to a new arena and a new ownership group and a new era in the history of the Kinga unfolding before our eyes.

The night is darkest before the dawn....

What a god damn ride y'all. And it's finally over and a new chapter is about to start.

The Kings are finally truly safe for the first time in over TWO DECADES when Jim Thomas purchased the team in 1992 trying to move the team to SoCal.

Love found its God damn way :hat :hat :hat

Twas a hell of a ride indeed.

I remember having deep thoughts on which fan base I was going to join after the Kings were to leave.

Sacramento is on cloud nine right now and it's only going to get better

Congrats once and for all guys. Take off work or skip class tomorrow. Drink up, you deserve it.

If there is a shake-up throughout the organization, I can't wait to see it unfold. I don't remember the last offseason when the Kings made real moves. Excited to see what hits the floor next year. Even if they can't shake up the team just yet, at least the culture will be different, and that counts for a lot.

It is but it's all in Sacraments hands. No third party votes or like waiting for the Maloofs to sell.

Sounding like the Warrior's asst GM and coach, Travis Schlenk and Mike Malone will be the popular names thrown around to replace Petrie/Smart.

Great ******g feeling! I feel bad for Seattle and their fans, however, and they do deserve to have their team back, but I'm glad it wasn't at the expense of another team. We fought hard to keep the Kings at home and I hope we can soon enough return to our winning days.

I forgot to upload my pics of the last game, but here's a few. I have a few vids but they're too damn long to upload. It was crazy to sit and watch this game knowing this could possibly have been our last game, especially when no one wanted to leave afterwards. I didn't get back to the bay until 1:30 or so. It was a terrible feeling to ponder not having our team here anymore but now it's over and I'm glad we can focus on the future now.
