At the 10 second mark, she presses 7 buttons along the middle row of the elevator control panel. According to this picture of the control panel (look under yelp -> /biz_photos/cecil-hotel-los-angeles?select=0XWlhUYap81ZxsIiz5llZw#8WRRjdNxuSdkRLmwF7csdQ) that would be floors 14, 10, 7, 4, B, then "Door Hold". At the 13 second mark, the door begins to close (a slight movement) then at the 14 second mark, it opens up, perhaps due to the "Door Hold" button being pressed.

Clearly its murder, all the other speculation is besides the point. Drugs or not I don't know of too many drugs that would make someone strip butt booty, head for the roof of a hotel and hop in a water tank over paronoia. Whats creepy is that the killer left little to no evidence, almost like the hotel is his stomping ground

Bath salts do that. Had a guy in my building strip naked and run out in middle of the street stopping traffic then got on the hood of a car and started stomping on it. And there was another guy few month back living in a building on the same street strip naked and jumped to his death off his penthouse loft while on bath salts. Why are Native Americans allowed to sell bath salts given that they are so bad? I'm not saying that's what she was on, but here in Oklahoma, you can literally pull right up to a drive through smoke shop and get some of that stuff

Probably the maintenance worker did it. The only people with total access to a building are the building engineers. They know more about the buildings than the building owners. It wasn't no suicide that's for sure. Because to get into a water tower you would need access up to the roof, an access of tools to get into the damn thing and the knowledge of how to get into it.

GUYS, this news is all over the chinese radio and tv news here in vancouver..
IMO.. this is a foul play.. not accident at all...
In the video, she was wearing slippers and from reports say she is short-sighted ( she didn't wear any glasses in the video)
and I've heard that this cecil hotel all the bathrooms are in the lobby area.. maybe she's going down to shower or somthing .. she didn't even carry a cell phone nor purse with her..
AND, if u watch closely at the 2:26-2:29 mark... the way she pivots her feet... it definitely looks like she's getting pulled by someone on the left side...
also, like ELJEFE said, the maintenance worker has to to be in this. because there are two doors to the roof. there's no way she can get up to the roof of the hotel without the key or triggering the alarm....more as it continues....
