I still don't get how dudes here on NT are still defending Bernard.
maybe i should have phrased it differently ... claimed they were shot at by the same exact people pacman "sent" to shoot at them ... manget out of here ... this is all a bunch of #+%@@%%% ... and for the record, IN THE REAL WORLD NONE OF THE ++$* THEY REPORTED WILL HOLD UP IN COURT ... bunch ofhearsay bs ... get outta here ...

and !%$ you gonna do when interviewed about some ++$* that could hem you up? aww man yeah i sent dudes to shoot a guy ... aww man i told dude i would kill him... aww man if i had a gun i would have shot up their car etc... etc... take me away now?

what the %!%+ type of ++$* is that?

Just for some insight...

Michael Irvin said today that he had talked to Jerry and people within the Cowboys organization over a week ago, and they told him right after the Philly gamethat PacMan wouldn't be back next season...

He said the investigation ESPN is airing had nothing to do with whether or not Pac was coming back, but it did impact the timing of the announcement... Theywould have waited until teams could actually place guys on waivers to make it official if it weren't for the ESPN thing...

And he had the ESPN reporter who investigated this story on his local radio show today, and the guy REFUSED to acknowledge Playmaker's questions about thecredibility of the 'victims' in this investigation... The guy never once said that he believed these guys were credible sources of information, as theywere all ex-convicts and gang members...

If you can't say that you're fully confident in the credibility of the information you're about to air on national television, especially when itcomes to ATTEMPTED MURDER allegations, chances are you probably shouldn't air it...

People know how I feel about PacMan, but after hearing this guy duck questions and refuse to address the credibility of the victims involved, I seriouslyquestion how much weight should be placed on this investigation by ESPN...

i just dont get how so many people can be blind to the facts of this story ... in my opinion, did a drunken pacman tell the dudes he would kill them? ... Yes... did pacman tell his folks to go get at the "victims?" ... Possibly ... Did the same dudes shoot up the "victims" car? Probably ...

does any of that %+#+!#++ matter? not at all ... they have NOTHING but some statements from some of the same type of people that yall think pacman is ...

heres a question ... if pacman got interviewed and said he was at a strip club and he overheard someone say they were gonna kill him and he got shot up laterand ran to a espn reporter and said all that bs ... would yall believe him?

you got CONVICTED snitches tryin to make money off of a name thinkin theyre cool because they gettin interviewed on ESPN ... i wish they didnt do it in thedark and showed their faces, ole punk +%% #%$#%#@ ...

Wow.

To me, this story ain't gonna hold a lot of weight for the time being, just because of the 'sources' they're using and the investigator'shesitancy to commit to the legitimacy of his sources... Oh, and they won't even give these dudes names out... They were interviewed as shadow figures andwill have their voices distorted for the ESPN airing...

smh.gif

This whole thing just screams bad judgment by ESPN... I mean, they can't be held legally liable, because all they're reporting is what they'rebeing told by the guys PacMan supposedly tried to have killed... And they've got video evidence and a shot up car? OK... But when you're about to run astory that your own investigative team doesn't believe they've got truly reliable and credible sources for?
ohwell.gif
Something is wrong with that to me...

But to say it doesn't matter and it shouldn't be an issue?
ohwell.gif
Come on man...

Where there's smoke, there's usually fire... And there's been too much smoke around PacMan dating back to his days at WVU to believe he's beenthe victim throughout all this...

I don't doubt for a minute something happened at that club. I just wish ESPN felt they had strong ground to stand on with this story in terms of crediblesources before they go throwing this type of stuff out there because of PacMan's reputation... If this story was about Tom Brady, and they had these sameex-convict, gang member sources, do you think they'd run it? Because I don't... And that's the problem for me...

like the old America's Most Wanted trying to keep everyone'sface hidden just in case the killer ever came across them. I agree with you for the most part but if something like this did happen to Brady they would run itbut they would give it the best positive spin they could possibly manage before they'd ever let word leak out.

/\ That's all I was saying from the jump...something didn't seem right when they noted that the POLICE weren't even actively investigating that"new" angle. Pac's past just caught up with him in this case...if he had ANY chance of playing for anyone ever again...this "story"$@+@%! all of that up.

pacman trying to do some damage control on cbs now

This dude is dumb as rocks.

"I haven't been to the strip clubs in 2 years, 1 1/2 years, almost 3 years."

I don't know who's lying here. But I do know that this idiot surrounds himself with people who are only going to get him in trouble.

Guess those lawsuit threats weren't serious. Dude gonna sit down with SAS after doing the CBS interview
