Cowboys Release Pacman Jones - CBS interview vid on pg 8

Yall seriously don't remember all the reports about both players and coaches wanting no part of having Adam Jones back in the locker room after his fourgame suspension? Gimme a freakin break...

The TO release is something ESPN is stirring up. From a buisness standpoint, they can't afford to cut him because of the contract he signed last offseasonwith all that guaranteed money. Jerry said a few weeks ago that if they released him, they would have problems resigning Ware. And, I still believe that theperception thats put out there of whats going on in the locker room isn't very accurate. But we'll see.

I'm not about to go back and try to dig them up, but they were there... And there were plenty of them... Mostly from ESPN, so whether you want to believethem or not is up to you...

But there were plenty of people on local radio here in Dallas talking about they talked to players and/or coaches that tried to talk Jerry out of bringing himback after the suspension...

i know about the reports also, i heard about them on a cowboys site. as far as TO goes i think that we should stick with him, like someone else said i dontthink the negatives outweigh the positives. maybe its just me but i think without him we are right back in the same place when we had him and no true number 2.Im hoping that we can have a big year next year. but a big reason all this stuff is coming out is because we are done playing and everyone is waiting for theblow up. to say the least its going to be a long 8 months waiting on next season

The article said that the shooter could not be established when the incident happened. But in an unrelated investigation, and informant claimed Jones essentially put a hit on the three men who were shot at.

He will not win any lawsuit unless ESPN fabricated the story. And they do not do that, no matter what many of you believe. You don't put press credentials on the line to make up some story about the Cowboys.
Thanks hater for saying that I said Espn was making up stories about the Cowboys. I never said that I just thought this was already known that hemight have had something to do with this when it first happened. I don't care about dude winning a lawsuit cause if he wasn't involved there would benothing to report in the first place. I really like how cats just try to lump everybody in the same boat just cause we have a sig of the same team.

These dudes on ESPN are comedy.

"so yeah, I asked the girl that was with Pacman and obviously in street clothes and not a dancer if she wanted to give me a dance. Then, Pacman told menot to talk to the girl, and so my friend turned around and gave Pacman a dirty look. Then Pacman put his hand in his pants and threatened to kill me."

I'm sorry, but if I'm in the strip club with any girl i know (that isn't a stripper

) and some random %#% dude comes up and asks her for a dance, I'm not aboutto have any sort of nice response.

Why do you think that second paragraph was directed at you? Just because it was in the same reply? I'll break my replies up next time.

AwfulAnnouncing
ESPN Just Brought Out The Big Guns (No Pun Intended) On Pacman

ESPN just aired a portion of the Outside The Lines piece that will air in its entirety this Sunday, and I take back everything I said about them ever getting "egg on their face". Not only do they have accounts from parties at the Atlanta strip club about Pacman the night in question, but they also have surveillance footage of Jones entering "Club Blaze" just past midnight. Here is the snippet that just aired on Sports Center....

It's sad that Adam Jones' career is likely over, especially considering the talent that he had, but it's even more sad that he just couldn't keep things together after second, third and fourth chances. I can't believe that it took this long for the story to come out, and good job by ESPN on being the first to investigate/break the item.

ESPN should be sued for a lot of things, but it appears that this isn't one of them.

Still dont know how to post youtube but the link to the segment is at the top of this page:

Wrong. I've been to the strip club with female friends before. I'll be damned if some random dude says something disrespectful to one ofthem.

haha agreed

Pacman WAS a contributor this season, I don't really see how anyone can say otherwise, unless they didn't see many Cowboys games.

Him being cut doesn't really matter much, as it will force our rookies to step up, which I don't mind.

And TO is going NOWHERE. C'mon now

maybe that will fly in your area...but you would def getthe "pacman" treatment if you tried it with the wrong people

anyways i like pacman...hes ignorant and hes hood ....he doesn't deserve to be on a nfl team raking in millions if he cant follow simple discipline codes-theres just better ways to handle every situation ive read about him being in...he needs better people around him

he also got painted the bad guy a ong time ago so all his actions are blown up and made into huge deals..trust theres alot going on out there that gets coveredup or never mentioned in order to protect certain players/teams

but whatever....i put him in the mike vick catagory...talent, opprotunity...stupidity...
