There haven't been many great ones like New York, but the backdrop it plays in most of these movies shows how perfect it would be if Hollywood ever decided to return to Chicago for crime films.

Primal Fear
I, Robot
Road to Perdition
Public Enemies
Henry Portrait of a Serial Killer
Batman Begins
The Dark Knight
Good list, JRS.....VERY solid films.

One movie set in Chicago that I enjoyed was Derailed...

*just added Pulp Fiction....good call.

Hong Kong > *

And The Boondock Saints is way overrated. Honestly, it's just a rip off of a Tarantino flick or was trying to be one.

Goodfellas, Bronx Tale, and Donnie Brasco put NY on top
But Boston has been on point recently with Boondock Saints, Departed, and a few others
LA has Boyz n the Hood and Menace 2 Society
