As a standup comic myself.... This was amazing. I rarely say this about comedy anymore because I’m around it so much. I can understand people who are upset at some of the content. But it was crafted masterfully... AND IT WAS FREAKING FUNNY AF

That being said, out of the things we do know, we DO KNOW that Mike was 30 years old having dates and cuddling sessions with underaged boys. We DO KNOW that he built an entire amusement park in part for them. That we do know.

Thread isn't about Mike so I won't derail, but it's insane to me that a 30 year old who cuddles with minors can get the benefit of the doubt here. If your son or daughter was hanging out with a 30 year old and having slumber parties with him,....nvm

I can find humor in things I don't agree with. I didn't agree with everything Chapelle said, but he was funny.

I can't for the life of me, understand how people willingly watch comedians then play mad about the content on stage. Like, people are flat out playing dumb. You know the aesthetic of a comedian, especially one of Dave Chapelle's elk. You know what's coming. HE'S A COMEDIAN.

The fake outrage is insane. Why we continue to put moral compasses on celebrities that we don't know will never not be wild to me, ESPECIALLY comedians. Context matters. A Comedian saying these things in a funny manner should not cause a stir to me but whatever lol

I had a get together at my place the other day and i half way through i put on r Kelly to see if anyone would object bc i kinda wanted the debate. Sure enough the person that i expected to say something spoke up talking about he is cancelled blah blah blah. She is a huge cardi fan so i asked her if we should cancel cardi since she admitted to drugging and robbing men. She couldn't do anything but laugh.

People just want to cancel what they feel some type of connection to. Other stuff they know is heinous but it just isn't a sensitive spot for them.

"Half the people in here have been molested before...." Followed by a joke is a tad too far imo.

If you can insinuate that there was " dating and cuddling with young boys" going on, and an amusement park was built for them, even though none of that has ever been confirmed as fact, and none of us know what exactly happened, we're all free to believe the opposite, even though taped depositions directly contradicting certain events in a "documentary" filmed less than 2 months later exist...nvm

She was popping off on Twitter cause she was salty that a random person asked her about Jay using ghostwriters. She dragged Nas' name in the dirt and claimed to have heard reference tracks.
