DC Studios THREAD - GunnVerse Begins - Chapter ONE: Gods & Monsters

as a dc fan... yall putting too much stock and faith on them thinking they were thinking ahead with battinson and jokerquin

its purely coincidence when the joker and batman film are set

if they do plan to make this joker meet up with bats, they need a sequel w/o bats to show that he has become more conniving and charming and not just a mental case, the events in the film are pure happenstance that resulted in his popularity and influence

because this was an origin story.

batman was a kid in this.

there's plenty of time for joker to get there.

wb execs got to stay away though and not rush it and they need to make show that development in film, too much to tell there for him to just show up in the bats film as the full blown joker

JOKER Scores Best Monday Ever In October As It Dances Past $100 Million Domestically

The Todd Philips-helmed DC origin movie took in $9.72 million from Monday screenings, besting the previous record held by last year's Venom ($9.63M). This gives Joker a domestic cume of $105.9 million, meaning it crossed the $100M milestone after just 6 days on general release.

Yea. This joker doesn't have the intelligence to go up against batman. He's seems to be more reactionary than calculating.
I think the Joker has always been reckless while being a schemer. This is literally his first time out there, how do you
know he's not a bigger criminal 15-20 years down?

Not that big a leap on the age stuff...Bruce is about 10 in this movie...Arthur about 30 or at the very least early 30’s...

Say year one Batman would be 25...That would put Joker in the 45ish range for a first encounter...

What was the movie age disparity in Batman ‘89? Bruce early 30’s and Joker early 50’s? 20ish year gap really isn’t really all that...

People saying that this joker couldn’t go head to head with Batman obviously have never read The Killing Joke.

Joker wasn’t just instantly an evil genius, dude had a shaky unstable background in that as well.

Someone told me, "please, that girl wouldn't get with a dude like Arthur Fleck"...I had to school 'em. Zazie is about that emo, depressed Whiteboi life

Zazie beets with her discolored front tooth looking trash
She needs to fix that dead tooth
ASAP

Cinematography was too crisp in the movie and had that rotten tooth on front street. She's too damn attractive to be out here looking like the neighborhood candy lady

that's what I'm saying. People reference Heath's Joker but even that Joker was whimpy and schemey.
It's always more psychological with the Joker.
people talking age. LMAO

Why the hell would this Joker be in a Batman?
Batman would eff this crybaby easily
Dudes like 40 now. If Batman can’t take down joker at 60 0]

You're spot on about the age disparity, etc... That said they did cast the Twilight cat as Batman so the fight's pretty balanced.:lol::lol:

I haven't watched the movie yet, but isn't the Joker in this joint supposed to be an ideal? So essentially it could be anyone taking up the mantle of the Joker.

did they really go head to head fam?
it was implies Batman killed him EASY  how do weknow they were far in age?
No way was Arthur early 30s dude easily looked 40.

Nah they specifically said the mom adopted / gave birth to Arthur (depending on if you subscribe to the Thomas Wayne IS the farther theory) then got committed to Arkham shorty after that...”30 years ago”...That number was referenced a couple of times...

They don’t outright say Arthur is 32 or whatever but early 30’s is definitely implied...

Even still Batman ‘89 did the age gap with no issues...A Joker in his 40’s - early 50’s, that’s been doing crazy **** for fifteen years would be on equal footing as a year one, brand new Batman for sure...

it is a character study on the joker plus an origin story.
Phoenix was supposed to carry the film and good thing he did that.
You wouldn't want them to waste screen time and unnecessary plot points
on other characters like they usually do.

ex: Suicide Squad, BvS,
