DC Studios THREAD - GunnVerse Begins - Chapter ONE: Gods & Monsters

I saw that Jim Halpert is lobbying for the role.

I will never take Big Tuna seriously as a action star. I think he's a great actor, but Tuna? Nah I'm cool bro

I hope they do another comic series for this one, like they did for the first game. It took a long time, but that was one of the better alternative universe storylines DC has done, in my opinion, specifically because it wasn't rushed.

Injustice 2 comic set to debut in April

When the first Injustice: Gods Among Us game was released, its comic book tie-in nearly eclipsed the game in popularity and continued to run for 72 issues. Now, DC Entertainment has announced the tie-in comic for the upcoming Injustice 2 has been officially confirmed with writer Tom Taylor and artist Bruno Redondo returning for the series.

“Returning to INJUSTICE and working with Tom again feels like a homecoming,” said Redondo. “Much of the work I’m most proud of is what Tom and I did during the first comic and it feels great to come back. Tom is one of my favorite writers and one that I enjoy working with the most. We have a similar understanding of the characters, the drama and the humor, which I think helped make the first series so successful. Working in the Injustice universe allows us to do so many things we’re unable to do in any other comic and I can’t wait for fans to see what we have in store for INJUSTICE 2.”

“I am so excited to continue working with Bruno Redondo. He’s a good friend and an incredible talent,” said Taylor. “I think Bruno ‘gets’ me as well as any artist ever has. We compliment each other well, and Bruno lifts INJUSTICE up with every stroke of his pen. As a former theatre director and performer, my main focus is always on how well our characters ‘act’ on the page. Bruno brings so much emotion to the page, nailing the low points and the high. His characters breathe, and he’s just as comfortable delivering big action and shocks as he is with my ridiculous humor.”

The prequel comic book storyline will look to bridge the gap between the first Injustice video game and the upcoming Injustice 2 game that debuts in May 2017. Taylor previously noted, “Our overarching goal is to tell one complete story between the comics and the games. There are a lot less ‘Gods Among Us’ in INJUSTICE 2 than when we started our story, but we hope to join Batman and the world’s finest Super Heroes in cleaning up the mess an evil Superman and his regime left behind.”

The series is set to debut digitally on April 11 with new chapters releasing weekly, the series will be printed as a twice-monthly print comic by DC starting in May.

Snyder is big on making everything visually look like the comics.

except for bright colors

I doubt he'd actually give Cavill a mullet though.

Apparently the DCEU Facebook page took it down with quickness so others think there might be some legibility to it, whether it's the actual suit or just a concept with Cavills head PSed, no one is for sure at the moment, just speculations.

Roman Reigns = Cyborg in NT

My girl came in one day while I watching raw during a Reigns match. After about ten minutes she was like "who this fake *** Khal, that's why nobody likes him listen to everyone booing his *** "

* Cyborg everywhere. :lol:

He hasn't had a run go longer than 12 issues. His current Rebirth ongoing isn't selling well either. If he didn't take up Martian Manhunter's spot on the JL in the New 52 or Martian Manhunter AND a Green Lantern's spot in the DCEU, people would probably go easier on him. He should really be with the Titans. I think DC is banking on him making new fans with the general movie audience.

I get they wanted a hero of color then why not go with Jon Stewart. Everyone coming from fans if the cartoon would have gone wild at that.

Atleast it's not #avengerssowhite

? The green lantern movie is a buddy cop film with Hal and Jon. Hal is supposed to be the grizzled vet and Jon the newcomer

Injustice 2 comic is gonna be dope.

I loved every issue of the first one. Got a little over the top at some points but it still was a good read.

I'm talking about Justice Keague going with Cyborg instead Green lantern as the original members for the movie.

In stead of Cyborg the could have Jon Stewart .
