DC Studios THREAD - GunnVerse Begins - The Penguin out 9/19 then every Sunday on MAX

They're going to film it back to back with JL and they like to hold back and take their time with post-production editing, cgi and all.

Happened on MoS too, filming ended February of 2012, was suppose to relase December of 2012 but didn't come out til June 2013 though delay for that wasn't really clear. Some say competition because it was due to come out December and it would have competed with WBs other huge holiday film, the Hobbit.

Maybe this time it is a combination of both the Avengers: AoU competition and the back to back filming schedule? I'm sure most here will say it's the former. :lol

Ok, I can buy that. I like to treat WB like WCW during the Monday Night Wars. WB had the Nolan Trilogy as their NWO but now, they're just competition for Marvel to make sure they don't slack :lol

But at the end of the day, I still want these guys to succeed and make enjoyable super hero movies because I was underwhelmed by Green Lantern and MoS.

I just want to see the World's Greatest Detective in his Batcave in his suit with some banter between him and Alfred.

We're clearly getting an older Batman, so It's obvious we're gonna get a much older Commissioner Gordon then.

I'm just Fanboy casting, but I've always pictured Bryan Cranston as a better Commissioner Gordon than Lex Luthor.

He was the voice over actor as Gordon in Batman Year One and he has a good relationship with Warner Bros. and Affleck (Argo) so I don't think its a long shot at all.

Stephen Lang from Avatar would be a different, but nice casting choice as well.

Ben playing a 50 year old so how old is Jeremy Irons supposed to be?? He doesn't look 80 to me.... :{

If only there were some way to make a 65 year old look like an 80 yr old. And Jeremy Irons makes me think Alfred is gonna have a heel turn.

Justice is set to dawn nearly two months earlier than originally planned! Warner Bros. Pictures has moved the release of their highly anticipated superhero team-up Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice to March 25, 2016!

I'm personally happy the wait time is lessened but I could see all the Marvel Stan's push how that was a ***** move for budging :lol
