what a disaster...

Ben Affleck won't be back as Batman according to Casey

"He's not going to do that movie, I don't think," he says. "Or so I would say." Which seems pretty concrete. Or alternatively not concrete at all... as when the host says Affleck is 'breaking news', he immediately backtracks, saying:

"Is that breaking news? I was just kind of making that up."

It will be a blessing in disguise. What was so awesome about his performance anyways?

Maybe we won't get a older looking Bruce.

I like Ben, but it's not like he was great

The older Bruce is where they stuffed themselves in a hole. His script not being used lighted the fire and now you got Snyder gone and the corporate machine getting in Geoff Johns ear to make it more light hearted. With every thing he's been going through personally I don't blame him for jumping ship but I'm a little disappointed since I liked my brain storm idea of battfleck raising Damian for the Batman film and having it violent but endearing

Right when Justice League's promotion is ramping up though, yikes....

Aquaman set photos. First dude kind of reminds me of Orm's goons from the New 52. Looks like Aquaman is getting launched out of that window.

They buggin. I don't like the decision they made to make him older, but he's been a great Batman. He's an ok Bruce.

I like Ben as Batman/Bruce. Wasn't my first choice and still isn't, but I really would have loved to seen a Batman directed movie.

Not mad with Matt Reeves though.

He's big, hulking, violent, and kills people. Seems like a character audiences would like. Was watching bvs a few minutes ago and he definitely was a psycho villain who was a few seconds away from murdering superman.

lol

my guess is it has more to do with the writing and directing than afleck himself

would like to see him right the wrong and stick it out for atleast the batman. dont want him going out as the worst batman in cinematic history

:(
Is Batfleck leaving because BVS was a bust or because JL is another bust?
Probably both.

He's big, hulking, violent, and kills people. Seems like a character audiences would like. Was watching bvs a few minutes ago and he definitely was a psycho villain who was a few seconds away from mudering superman.

Shazam is confirmed to be the next film DC will shoot, and the rumor of Black Adam not appearing is true as well.

Black Adam doesn't need to be in Shazam. He's getting his own flick. Let whoever they cast as Shazam build their brand, because The Rock is going to more than likely be the bigger star and potentially cannibalize this new hero they're trying to introduce. Use a smaller villain. They can set up the confrontation in the "third" movie.

1. Shazam
2. Black Adam
3. Shazam v Black Adam: Dawn of Biceps
