DC Studios THREAD - GunnVerse Begins - The Penguin out 9/19 then every Sunday on MAX

Black Adam is kind of like Magneto in some instances in that morally grey area. He's been all over the spectrum. He's also a ruler/protector of Khandaq like Doctor Doom is of Latveria.

yeah he's been painted as more of an anti-hero in recent continuity. I think DJ could really knock him out of the park, pending he has a good actor to play Billy to act as a foil.

Not a big fan of WWIII, but I love the idea of a long game for these villains. I think the rumor is Cheetah in WW2. Set-up Cheetah, Black Adam, Sinestro, Metallo, Riddler, and a couple others and we can get a LEGION OF DOOM JL3 poppin' off.

:hat :hat

This guy.

Joe Man Jello looks the part, but I saw someone mention the Theler guy on social media and posted clips from the show he's on and he has that manchild personality down perfect. Plus he's huge and you could see him throwing down with The Rock on screen.

Joss Whedon's Reshoots Might Save "Unwatchable" 'Justice League'
By Ryan Britt on August 14, 2017

The man who kept the Avengers hilarious and Buffy heroic might be doing more than just helping Cyborg lighten-up. It’s rumored that Joss Whedon’s reshoots for Justice League are saving the film from an “unwatchable” cut.

According to an August 11th article published on fan-site Batman On Film an insider said that studio executive at Warner Bros. considered the Zach Synder cut of the movie to be so bad that Whedon’s involvement in the movie is more than just standard pick-up shots. While this is 100% unsubstantiated, the hiring of Whedon to finish Justice League has raised a lot of eyebrows, mostly because he’s such a big name, and successfully turned another superhero team — Marvels’ Avengers — into a cinematic juggernaut in 2012. The conventional wisdom here is that if the movie just needed a little retooling, Warner Bros. wouldn’t have hired a heavy-hitter like Whedon. Perhaps more than the tone is being lightened-up. Maybe, like Rogue One, the entire ending is being changed.

In an attempt to seemingly downplay the reshoots, Ben Affleck (Batman) told Entertainment Weekly that he had never worked on a film that didn’t have reshoots. But he also said that Justice League would be an “interesting product of two directors.” While this isn’t the same as saying the first cut of the film was “unwatchable” (early cuts of movies often are) but it did seem to imply that the final Justice League will be at least half-Whedonesque if not more.

Two Directors Up For “Justice League Dark”

Daniel Espinosa (“Life,” “Safe House”) and Gerard Johnstone (“Housebound”) have reportedly emerged as the two final candidates to take over the upcoming “Justice League Dark” film at Warner Bros. Pictures & DC Comics.

Beyond the Trailer broke the report, saying the studio has narrowed the search for a helmer down to these two names after the likes of both Damian Szifron (“Wild Tales”) and Andres Muschetti (“IT”) had been linked days after director Doug Liman chose to step away from the film back in May.

Michael Gilio’s script reportedly begins with a series of ancient tomes being stolen by a madman hell-bent on humanity’s end. Due to this, occult detective John Constantine seeks out a group of heroes that specialises in the mystic and arcane in order to save the world including Swamp Thing, Deadman, Zatanna, Etrigan the Demon and potentially Madama Xanadu.

Scott Rudin is producing the film which has yet to schedule production dates.
