But teen Titan I think should be at end of phase 2 or beginning of phase 3.. so you have 2-3 batman movies at least, Robin on verge of being nightwing and he'll be leader of teenagers they can funnel through

They can slot JLD wherever. It will have no bearing on the JL. Batman and Superman don't fight the supernatural. That's where you get Zatanna, Constantine, Swamp Thing, Etrigan, etc. They should of used Enchantress for the JLD villain instead of SS.

If you're going to copy Marvel, take your time and do it right. Your top 2 heroes are arguably 1st and 2nd most popular super heroes ever. Coming after the Nolan movies, you have all sorts of hype and goodwill. You do justice league members origins movies one by one, you focus on the QUALITY and you build your universe. You plant the seeds for the big enemy in each of them then you put them all in "Justice League". When you've built equity by putting out quality films, then you can venture into GoTG type teams. That gives you time to truly plans stuff out and have a clear direction you're going in. Otherwise when you announce like 7 different movies the reaction is . There's no excuse for Wonder Woman to be the 1st good movie. Universal Dark Universe is ******* up the same way too. Wanting the MCU success without solid groundwork.

Don't think anyone is suggesting that for JL dark.. but DC needs to establish a proper brand first

And you have elements in other characters who could pop up before you go that route.. like if you go teen titan, Raven.. or as I mentioned tie in batman later down the road.. or you have the main JL need Constantine or something

Cuz simply the fact is JLD isn't that popular even with the JL name use. As far as the movie, I bet they're hoping casting saves the movie the way Will Smith got SS to sell. Maybe the Rock as BA is partially the villain in that.

They put Batman in the animated flick to sell Blu-rays. He's barely in it even though he's the most prominent on the cover.

Get someone fine to play Zatanna, a Brit with swagger to play Constantine, someone funny to play Deadman, and the rest can just be solid actors. Zatanna and Constantine are prob the most important.

I agree with that. I'm down for a JLD flick, but the general audience are going to be lost. That's why I think Zatanna and Constantine should be name actors. I saw a fan cast for Felicity Jones as Z a while back. I would be down for that.

I never thought highly of Whedon but I liked him for creating Buffy, Dollhouse, introducing me to Eliza Dushku, and directing Avengers and AoU.

Other than that he's like any other dude. I just assumed he been swimming in yambs for decades.
