DC Studios THREAD - GunnVerse Begins - The Penguin out 9/19 then every Sunday on MAX

:lol:It's crazy how this is working out when it comes to the timeline .
The Reeves interview happened a few days before the same interviewer published the story about Batfleck being out, then comic-con happens and Batfleck doesn't confirm his further involvement but says he'd act for Reeves as an extra in Planet of the apes, but some diehards took that as, he's in it for the long haul. (in reality chick probably got Reeves to slip up and say Batfleck wasn't going to do it, so studio had to save face)
Then they talk to Joe Mangiello about his involvement and he says something along the lines as "I don't know what they're doing, talk to them."( His face when they told him the overall plans was probably like )

Now it seems like WB/DC lifted the embargo on the Reeves interview w/ the joker stand alone news, to announce a stand alone Batman

I'm marking my own "Phases" for the DCEU, phase 1 ends with JL

Love how the people talking the most trash when we posted that Affleck being gone rumor are silent now. Goes to show, for DC, consider all rumors.

They just announced/re-announced Flashpoint, Green Lantern Corps, Shazam, Wonder Woman 2, Justice League Dark, Batgirl, Nightwing, The Batman, etc. at SDCC. I can see The Batman being self contained and not having effect on any overall Justice League plot, but still being a part of the DCEU. With Jeremy Irons and J.K. Simmons in it and everything.

I'm just going to wait for the movies to come out. We went through this same circus with Wonder Woman. Making a Joker origin film is beyond stupid though.

Matt Reeves on ‘The Batman’: “It’s a standalone, this isn’t part of the extended universe”

link includes the actual interview you can listen to as well
Wow :lol

RIP to the DCEU.

This still isn't making much sense. MoS was suppose to kick off the DCEU. BvS was the prelude to JL. There are suppose to be Flash and Aquaman solo movies. WW is a surprise success for them quality and money wise.

Now the Batman solo flick is not even in the DCEU?

I mean **** you might as well let Ben walk if he wants to. There's no continuity anyway.

What in the **** is going on with WB? These people have no idea what they want to do. Why the hell do you even have the DCEU if your going to do all these side stories? Yall seriously starting to lose me WB.

All this hype for the DCEU and y'all want to do separate stories (well rumor has it) smfh yall losing me fo'sho right now

the "i hate sjws" crowd is going to have a field day with this... or do they only attack the marvel side of things when it comes to the male superheroes?

The Krypton show sounds interesting. Other than the MCU Netflix shows, I can't get into any of these superhero TV shows. I don't expect the Titans TV series to be any good.

Apparently the Matt Reeves quote was before SDCC when The Batman was announced as part of the DCEU slate. It might be a wording thing. The Batman won't be a BVS situation. It's going to be confined to the Batman universe of characters and not the entire DCEU. Matt Reeves will be telling his own story, but it's still using actors/characters established in the DCEU. And Deathstroke might not be in it, but Deathstroke would be way better as Nightwing's villain.

Possible Spoiler: Justice League Soundtrack Hints At Additional Team Member

Reddit is not typically a reliable source for news, but this is a different case. The subreddit dedicated to the band Imagine Dragons posted a screenshot of Justice League‘s IMDB page a few weeks ago, where the band was listed as part of the film’s soundtrack. This is hardly surprising given their established relationship with the DCEU, but the track they’re responsible for is noteworthy. While IMDB has since deleted this listing, as shown below, Imagine Dragons is credited to do a song titled ‘Unite the Seven.’

With only six Justice Leaguers confirmed to appear so far, it could in fact be this listing (if accurate) that confirms someone else is joining the roster. Since anyone can submit information to IMDB, there is no telling if it is true. But, since the track has yet to be officially announced, WB and Imagine Dragons would not want that information to leak ahead of time like this and could have had it removed. Then again, they would want the same exact thing if it was completely false. However, since their songs were used for Suicide Squad and Wonder Woman, their connections could add some credibility to this.
