I kinda feel like new gods is a little to ambitious
Should get the right director and try to get their deadpool., not meaning that specifically.. but a smaller entity without the major expectations to rebuild from the ground up
feel like using flashpoint is just pulling a DOFP again
Or they could kinda literally pull a deadpool and just move forward with WW2 like none of that other crap happened, ditto flash and aquaman

Hard to get JL right when their were holes to fix in BvS. It's like starting off the game down 14 and you're just trying to play catch up at this point.
Not trying to make an excuse for them.
One thing JL did get right, and I think it was the most important yet the least utilized: having the team interact with each other. Those moments of Diana and Bruce or Cyborg and Flash were great. All the scenes of the team together were great. I didn't need to spend any time with that Russian family, the scene with Mera and Aquaman were awful and could have been done much differently/better.

I never got to finish my thoughts on JL. I watched bits and pieces of the first half of the movie and stayed for the last 25-30 minutes.
Movie was not bad. There was massive room for improvement though.

Zack was going to make an epic to build off MOS and BVS, but they brought Joss in to wash it all away and make a generic chuckle fest. Still upset about what Joss did to Batman. "I don't not like you." "Wow, he's tall." 
They wiped away all of Steppenwolf's development, the Kryptonian scout ship scenes, Supes meeting Alfred, Green Lantern cameos, and took out a lot of the history lesson. The deleted scenes (like 80 Cyborg ones) that were leaked. The parts from the trailers that didn't make the theatrical release. You can tell the difference in filmmaking too. Y'all see that Ma Kent and Lois scene at the Daily Planet? With the cussing grandma and the "thirsty" joke. Looks like a TV show. The best parts were the team working together like the sewer scene.

They will be fine.JL was originally going to be a 2-parter. Then they made it one movie. Then they had a plan that was changed to Jossify it. I like BVS. I understand it's polarizing, but I don't think it left any holes. The only threads left really were the Steppenwolf projection in the scout ship, Lex hinting at the bell for Darkseid being rung, and the dirt on Supes' grave rising. Nothing that was going to be resolved in BVS, but was meant to build on.

A wrinkle in time was bad because the screenplay and story was bad. Disney got the writers of Frozen to do it and it wasn’t good. But somehow the blame got shifted to DuVernay instead of the writers and Disney. People were saying she wouldn’t get another big budget picture again

Marvel's recent trailers > whatever I watched in JL
I will say that JL was far and away better than BvS. At least it looked like a coherent movie. BvS was just random scenes put together.

I said it and meant it. Because she was originally pegged to direct Black Panther but was let go for creative differences. She had an interview trying to box Marvel in and say she wouldn’t have got the creative liberties she wanted. Feige went with the better option Coogler who didn’t have the Hollywood feminist movement backing him like Duvernay and he made one of the biggest superheroes films of all time, with his creative liberties mind you. While Ava took her creative liberties to another Disney big budget flick and it fell flat on its face. Even Brad Bird lost traction after Tomorrowland flopped to oblivion and he has a real track record.

Watching jl for the first time now. Watching a mad kal beat up on the jl team is awesome to see. Those headbutts to WW and him choking bruce and asking if he bleeds.

I think the most comical part of JL’s behind the scenes drama is that WB and DC felt like all it would take was getting the guy who directed Avengers to come in and work on Justice League and everything would work out

Snyder was making epic trash. None of those deleted scenes or trailer scenes in the movie make it a better.
It was another below average story with just as many forced and fake dramatic dialogue he was gonna try to cover up with action and visuals.
The only difference with Joss was some of that was cut out for forced comedic lines.
