DC Studios THREAD - GunnVerse Begins - The Penguin out 9/19 then every Sunday on MAX

Yep. that's the whole problem. Its like dude is in his own world which is a good thing and bad thing at times.
I wouldn't mind somebody doing their own thing but Snyder just bastardizes it. Mish mash iconic imagery when it doesn't really fit. Lets kill a Robin, no not Todd, Grayson! This world's history is dark.

It just goes on and on.
After what happened to Jimmy Olsen no one was safe
 I forgot dude was just randomly there undercover and gets killed off in seconds. No point in that being Olsen. Snyder acting like he had previous flicks to establish that.

for me, this scene still resonates like the first time seeing tdk. just a powerful scene. the whole dialogue is a1 but the line that still gives me goosebumps every time i see it:

you have nothing, nothing to threaten me with
nothing to do with all your strength.

bats face to face with a man that lives in chaos, cant be bought, cant be broken, does not care about material things, a man that lives by different rules. that line made bats just another person in that scene. a helpless nobody.

This scene always gets me.. takes dude taking off his mask before Harvey reacts and then joker holding down the hammer when he gives him the gun

it might be a surprise but at this point it seems like its up to jj since he’ll be making/producing several dcu films/projects and wb wants him to take reign and while they do want to keep cavill they also want jj to pick his own if he wants ni remnants of the snyderverse and cast a new supes

i believe that is the main reason theyve been quiet about it and hopefully theyll have it sorted by the time the event rolls around
