December Wrestling Thread | Rest In Peace Brodie Lee | Happy New Year | JOTM Bruce Mitchell

A couple Survivor Series 96 notes with 3 matches left:

- Doug Furnas and Philip Lafon were about 2-3 years too early in their WWF careers
- Crush’s Heart Punch & Rocky’s Shoulder Breaker are two WOAT finishers, even for the 90s
- Barry Windham debuted that The Stalker gimmick and two months later they had already given up on that crap:rofl:
- Marc Mero and a very washed Jake The Snake were the most over guys in their elimination tag match
- Mankind vs Taker was such a good 2 year feud. A lot of people tend to just remember Mankind being thrown off the cell, but overlook Mankind’s beginnings, and just how well him and Taker meshed. This match wasn’t all that long, but had some good storytelling.
- Cool seeing a lot of Attitude pillars here at their beginnings, as all would be in a different place exactly a full year later. Austin, Rock, Hunter, Taker, Bret, and HBK would all be taking off, or helping somebody take off the very next year.

No wrestling today, put me on to one of your favorite tag team matches that took place in an American promotion and another in a NJPW event.

Need those reviews on Hart/Austin and Broken Heart Kid/Sid. Dont let me down

Main event was probably Sid's best match tbh. The little fella always like working with bigger dudes
