where is god when a little kid gets cancer? is he punishing them for taking a cookie out of the cookie jar?

religious people are usually the ones who claim suicide is "weak" and that only "cowards" take their own life, but im pretty sure they dont consider those who commit adultery cowards.

faith is a two way street bro...no doubt, sometimes god will test your faith...but hang in there and he will guide you through whatever your facing...i'm speaking from experience here

a starving baby in Africa with vultures hovering over him knows not what you speak of.

I've been through my share of hardship........believe it or not I think religion does some good when it's personal. It's like an anti-depressant of sorts. But I draw the line when people makes statements like "God tests your faith". It makes God sound like a a 55u4u a-hole.....and it makes a mockery of people who haven't survived his test of faith

ask a priest what type of god the christian god is...he'll tell you that he is a forgiving but a very stern god...don't let the hollywood misconception fool you

and to your example of the starving african baby, i'll point you the direction of Matthew 20:16...it states that "the last will be first, and the first will be last"

like i said, i have no problem with the weak and desperate taking solace in religion. But when you start implying that somehow he has positively influenced your life over the billions of people who walk this earth c*k in *** that's where i draw the line

I am blessed. I'm fulfilling my dreams, I got a roof over my head and food on the table.......if I where to say this is the doing of God it would imply that I'm more deserving of such blessings than most, which is absolutely false.
