Did anyone ever cut the straps on their 8's?

Ppl just need to lave their Jordans alone. I've seen straps cut off VIIIs and XXs & the collar cut off the VIIs. All of them ruin the shoe.
Looking for DTRT III, Last Shot XIV, Cinder XIV, Cool Grey IV, Chambray, Black Metallic V VII, Bred XIII, Cool Grey IX and Ginger XVI in sz 16.
