DJs/Music heads: Where do you get your records in LA?

Just got a turntable, looking to pick up some records. Where is your spot? What kind of selection do they have?

For hip-hop, I'd check out Fatbeats and Turntable Lab.

For a large selection of pretty much everything, check out Amoeba.

What five30 said. If you like digging, one spot in Pasadena, Penny Lane on Colorado is a good to dig, Rhino Records/Mad Platter is also another good spot to goto.

man record stores in LA are disappearing...I think House of Records, Aron's, Rhino, and Stacks are all closed up

Record Surplus in West LA is a hit and miss, but they've been around for a long while and you never know what you can find there.
