i can't remember if the spacejam retro had the jumpman or the nike sign on the inside of the shoe.

Jumpman.

The only XI retros with a Nike Air insole were the Concords. Columbia's also?

To answer your question, the space jams did have a royal blue jumpman stamped on the insoles

Space Jams ARE a retro, because they originally released in a very small quantity for the movie, before the retros released.

Of course it's a retro; the debate is if it's a retro+ colorway or not. If it was never released to the publicthe first time around, it's a retro+, plain & simple.

It's a retro, not retro+.
It does not really matter if the shoes were released back then or not.
It's because the colorway was ALREADY CREATED since 1996.
Well, does it matter? Thread starter already got his answer.

^IMO, it does matter if it was released or not.

Mike wearing the for a game or two against the Magic in 1995 and in the movie isnt enough to justify them being an OG colorway in my opinion.

for example, if the PE XIII lows he wore during the 1998 playoffs ever get released, Id classify them as a RETRO+

Space jams = sexy shoe, blue stamped jumpman, retro (brought back to public, remade) colorway.....nuff said

Ninjahood & Indohan, I guess we'll have to agree to disagree. I would say that in essence, (aside from the 2?colors of the V's that got the #23 stitching and the #45 X's) the OG Space Jams were the first incarnation of a Jordan Brand PE since they were not ageneral release shoe. Personally, even if Mike wore the shoes himself, if they weren't an actual release the first time around, then I would refer to themas a retro+.
