I would never do that because I never know how things will end up turning out. I might need someone from the old job in the future.

Yes, the job doesn't care about me and I am fully replaceable but that has nothing to do with me doing what I feel would be the right thing in that situation.

Quiet quitting and the ability to do such looks different depending on your job level though. If you are a manager responsible for BD you can’t just clock in and clock out. You need to bring new business or face a demotion/firing.

I always strive for above average now vs perfection. Doing the job extremely well is just used to overwork you which will eventually affect your work and fall off, and you'll get no grace from your time as the high performer.
