I thought the "deep web" was literally a place where you could eventually find literally EVERY SINGLE cell phone picture ever taken, autopsy photo, torture video, cable bill, phone bill, etc..... basically anything ever placed on a computer was fair game

Go look for it. Not all of the deepnet is illegal, you can look around through onion sites. But there's a LOT of *$#% to sort through. Do more research first. Damn near anything you can find in the deep is on the surface too. Just takes some Googling.

You think all the blatantly illegal stuff is gonna be out in the open for all to view? You can get to all the bad stuff if you know the destination address. Same concept as private IRC chat channels. USPS does not check all packages. You know how much stuff they get a day? Nothing inconspicuous gets a second look.

The post office doesn't have the right to search your packages, they need a warrant. I seriously doubt any drugs you order will safely make it to your house though, the feds know about this.
