Here's why I think this is hilarious and smart on Trump's part:

1.) He's not backed by the GOP and has no money behind him. He's doing this with his own money.

2.) He doesn't really want to win, so he can say whatever he wants.

3.) You ever seen him on his TV shows? He's a major douchebag and loves the drama / heat.

4.) He has no dambs to give. See all the attention he's getting?

5.) No need to be PC. Funny how he's moving up the polls by just cutting straight to the business.

The cynical part of me thinks that this is the greatest trolling experiment. Trump wants to show how ridiculous this whole political rat race is.
