With these people calling the shots, it feels like the social progression that the US was fighting for in the recent years might slowly be withered away.

Things are going to be fairly ugly for 2 years at the least.

I don't want him to fail. Its a unique thing to have someone like this in office and i think it will be really interesting to see how he does.


i have always had this mindset in my life that it doesn't matter who is president. Im going to do ME. I am going to be successful regardless and I'm going to determine my future and success. I have never felt that a president could change or determine my success. ...and i still feel that way.

the path that I'm on won't change because of this decision.

I like the positive tone... and about 12 hours later... I too am being optimistic. Maybe it helped that the markets didn't crash today like the MEDIA said it would!

I am looking forward to not dealing with ACA and being penalized for not having health insurance and that large tax cut.

Part of me wants to try to be optimistic about the fact hes been a democrat his whole life and write off the past few months as pandering to a base just to get elected. But then i remember the central park 5 and the discrimination lawsuits. Dude is scum, no if ands or buts about it. He should be good for big business just like any republicsn would be. You sir take the award for the dumbest post of the day. Cuba has a system in place where anyone who makes it to the US can apply for political asylum and stay due to the crap going on in Cuba. Mexico does not, any Mexican that came here ILLEGALLY is either dumb, poor or lazy. Mexico is not out here taking every dollar their citizen makes like Cuba does.
