Don't post in this thread. Find the official gta V thread. K thx

I hope the stopping for gas part is not true.

Would suck having to stop at a gas station in the middle of a mission or while running from the cops.

Game is gonna be about the middle aged guy in the trailer. He's going to get tired of the BS of every day living and turn to a life a crime. Maybe white collar to bank robber or something like that.

Where are the roads tho?

GTA maps look like this:

A "R* employee" who just happens to be quitting in two weeks posts a blurry cell pic of the map a day after the trailer comes out. That would leave me to believe it's fake.

That's why the only games that take advantage of the PS3's power are the ones that's developed only for the platform for 2+ years. You guys have to remember games are developed on PC's using Windows which ofcourse the transition to Microsoft's console is seamless compared to the PS3 not so much. The 360 will always be the console devs prefer at least for this generation which I don't see changing with the next generation either because remember the original was vastly superior to the PS2 in power and overall the 360 is the same compared to the PS3.

The PS3 can't compete

I really hope they improve the car physics. I hated gta iv's car control. It felt like cars had no tires and the wheels were made of wood. Also i hated that your player would fall so easily and take ages to get back up.

I just took GTA4 out the plastic after all of this time and man does this game suck donkey balls compared to the others.

The car physics and driving alone make me not want to even play anymore, but I want my body to be ready when 5 drops.

I serious hate 4 for this... it's too real and it sucks... it's not what GTA is about.

My first time ever playing a GTA on Xbox too... all the other 3 were on PS2... and I must say I prefer the PS2 controller for GTA, but Xbox controller for shooting games.

Is there a controller that's similar to that of PS2 that you can plug into your Xbox or something?

These are actually really good points. I didn't even think about that, but the driving in IV was just
sick.gif
. Every car had the same handling. And the getting up thing, it's like he'd fall, noticed he'd fallen, think about how to stand, then actually stand.

Or how he would try and take a car, and take his sweet !#* time getting in and going. Like, my dude, your committing grand theft auto, and you're just going to stroll and take your time doing it? Come on.

I tried to play IV today but i got so mad at the car control after 5 minutes i had to shut down my ps3. Every car understeer like crazy. I understand GTA ain't GT5 or Forza but seriously that has to be improved. The cars float like boats in that game.

The people that hate GTA IV cuz it was too real, you're gonna hate V. They're aiming to make the game more and more real.

Seriously. People are expecting San Andreas type gameplay and madness. It's not gonna happen. Only thing that might remind some of SA will be the jets and planes but if you want that type of game, you could easily cop Saints Row 3 which looks even crazier than SA was.

I don't hate realism because i played San Andreas yesterday and it felt so outdated. I wanna see real physics when you drive over somebody or shoot somebody. But i want to have fun at the same time. Most of my hate for GTA IV came from terrible driving physics and the boring storyline. The Ballad Of Gay Tony was so much better than the Niko Bellic story.

Driving was difficult at first but its easy to get use to and is more real to me.

I hated gtaiv at first but the second try really showed the physics and work they put into it.

Don't know if it was posted but its cool to see the comparisons between the two, mainly the vehicles.

Pretty much.
I loved everything else about the game. There were just some minor things that made the game not as fun as the others. If I can get GTAIV with a bit more character customization, better driving physics, and some more robbing places missions (can't stress this enough), and a few more cheats, I'll be happy. I love the way the bodies react after getting run over or shot. I love the pedestrian reaction to Niko's actions. There's a lot to love about GTAIV, but the game is sort of stale beyond the story (which is also nothing to write home about).

everything posted looks good but I just wish they would revisit Vice City that is still my favorite GTA ever

madd anxious. all of the things i've been hearing and reading...this game is gonna be serious. will probably end up just being LS, with the addition of possibly an gta version of san diego and tijuana. regardless of the outcome...i'm hype. definitely excited for the next trailer coming soon..

am i the ONLY dude out that actually liked the driving physics??? it was fun as hell, and one of my fav aspects of the game. I liked how different driving a Patriot around was from driving the sports car. I liked poppin the wheels in the back and doin lame drifts around a corner
