Lorenzo's had a fire a few months back. Still haven't reopened and I haven't heard any news on when/if they will.Hit up Lorenzo's for a slice of pizza on south street. I'm from NY, and I'm very partial to NYC pizza, but Lorenzo's is something else. I'm not saying it's the best, it's just different, and an experience, that's all. Slices are so big they have to fold up the front tip of the slice so it doesn't hang way off the plate. I'll also vouch for Jim's steaks on 4th and South. Geno's is a little overrated IMO.
Miss Philly though. The routine on the old philly trips (only made a couple but if any of my OGs are lurking around, they know what I'm talking bout) was to grab a cheesesteak once we made our first rounds near the Mitchell and Ness Store and the fitted spots in the mall, and then after we went through South Street, we'd grab a slice at Lorenzo's before heading back to NY.
That's DiNic's in the Reading Terminal Market on 11th and Filbert. Don't know how I forgot about that. You definitely gotta go to DiNic's for a roast pork sandwich with broccoli rabe, nothing can really compare to it it's delicious. There's a ton of other spots in RTM that are worth checking out too though. This one lady makes homemade mac and cheese with like 7 different cheeses. That and a roast pork from DiNic's is an amazing meal. Philly is great I suggest everyone move here . I love my city .what's that pork loin sandwich in that indoor market place? looks amazing

Federal Donuts (Gourmet donuts/chicken-- do not miss this... get there at 10:30 AM and stay till noon for chicken)
Sabrina's (Stuffed french toast)
Green Eggs Cafe (just had the waffles and chicken benedict-- no joke)
Max's Steaks (North Philly-- but worth a visit)
DiNics/Johns/Jims-- all worth the trip.
Cosmi's Deli
Alla Spina-- great new gastropub
Village Whiskey (get the Village Whiskey King burger)
I could go on... just a few of my favorites-- Philly is a great spot for food-- enjoy it.

Del Frisco's is delicious, but it's a chain. I'd try and get to local Philly spots while you're in the city.Del Frisco's Steakhouse on 14th and Chestnut right in the heart of Center City.
I've never been to Smoking Betty's but I'm going there for a party this coming Tuesday. Def looking forward to it.with runner up Smokin betty's
