You are a lair, petulant lair. Plain and simple

This was my comment that kick off your nonsense.....

Growing up in the Caribbean it allowed me to form an opinion about Castro independent of being feed stuff my American teachers, so all I have to say about Castro is..........................**** him.

He was an oppressive dictator, period.

No matter the relief he gave black Cubans, he kept most of them in economic despair because of his arrogance and greed.

One of the few, few things I am thankful of for the Reagan Administration (which was mainly all around ****, all over the world) is that they served as a credible threat to crazy "revolutionaries" ever trying to take control of the government, along with the UK. But trust and believe these clowns weren't trying, and weapons weren't coming in from Cuba

For the people that he may have helped and his family, I guess today this is a bad day.

But for me, not, I won't pour out an ounce of liquor for this clown.

I explain further after your weak attempt to check me that I was talking about my island.

Dude, you only embarrassing yourself with this nonsense right now.

You keep throwing insults, if dudes really clapped back, you would be running to the mods. So please, spare us.

I agree. The whole human rights violations and the elimination of the free press is not justifiable. But I really wonder if maybe he embraced democracy as he originally wanted if the U.S. helped him,it could have been a different Cuba, but they didn't want that. They wanted a puppet like Batista.

But he will have a mixed legacy. It all depends on your perspective. Was the Cuban revolutionary a liberator who toppled a tyrant and brought world-class standards of health and education to the island nation or demagogic despot who silenced, incarcerated or executed those who would not subscribe to his personality cult?

In the eyes of many he is a hero who stood up to a superpower but to others he is nothing less than a villain who preferred firing squads to democracy.

In my opinion, he overthrew a gangster dictatorship which had a appalling human rights record such as torture, killings, consolidating all the wealth in a few hands.

The United States made a massive mistake by not engaging with him at the time because of its interest, I think, in the sort of gangster economy.

It’s a great tragedy because in the early years Castro had looked to actually develop links with the U.S. When they did the boycott it pushed him into the hands of the Soviet Union.

If the U.S. accepted the revolution, who knows .. could have been a different Cuba.
One of the only constructive posts in this thread so far. You're looking at things from both sides and offer a little insight on not well-known history.

Thats not your initial post, thats when you tried to save face.

The only one embarrassing themselves is you.

At this point you don't even know what you are trying to debate or the point you are trying to get across. You've literally been rambling about nothing and posting gifs/pics that have nothing to do with anything.

I guess petulant is this weeks buzz words. Glad we getting that concept game up on NT. #strawman #redherring #petulant give it a rest, literally the same thing in every thread :lol

Fidel Castro is appreciated by me for his help in the fighting of colonialism in West Africa, no doubt about it. Muammar Gaddaffi is appreciated by me for his work in pan-African movements. Saddam Hussein is appreciated by me for his building of Iraq in the 70's and 80's and charitable work he did.

The catch, all three of these men brutalized their own people for the sake of achieving their goals. All three imprisoned or executed their political enemies, and all three did not allow any dissent towards their regimes. I don't think it is responsible for us (including me) to praise these men for the good things they did, without acknowledging the terrible atrocities they committed as well. It doesn't have to be one over the other, but to just say that it is "their beef not mine" is irresponsible to me.

Aint nobody compared Malcolm X to no Castro :lol

The quote should be evident enough.

Willful ignorance? lol man shut your dumb *** up.
I like how you now saying willful ignorance like this the first time you read me calling you out on that :lol

Then all you can say is shut up. ***** please.

You're the same idiot who posts Malcolm X in the same breath of slandering Castro.
Do you even know what slander is?

Educate yourself man. You don't know ****, you've admitted it in several posts. Stop wearing your ignorance like a badge of honor.

I`m not willfully ignorant to anything.
I would quote you but I'm not gonna waste my time.

You are willfully ignorant and proud of it.

I`m concerned with continental Africa thus I know about continental African History.
If you were truly concerned with any of that you'd stop using that ridiculous stupid *** ignorant *** dumbass logic.

Talking about anything else is Cubans problems. You sound like a clown praising dictators and then acting like nothing else exists.

You been crying this entire thread because people don't view Castro in the same light as you.
Nah b, I been calling out your willful ignorance. Not my fault you not in touch with reality. You foolishly keep thinking it's about wanting ppl to see things my way.

I see through that weak *** response too. Still sound like a ******* clown.

Keep tap dancing Lucky. At least we know how fake you are.

Zik didn't do that, I could be wrong but I didn't see anything like that posted. He posted a Malcom X quote to shade Lucky.

Lucky seems to be just throwing out a red herring.

No I`m not posting a red herring.

Zik is trying to shame people into bashing Castro, then proceeds to post a pic of Malcolm who literally considered Castro an Ally.

Is it Oochie Wally or is it One Mic?
I posted that on purpose you loser. You need to read :lol

This hypocrisy you on knows no bounds. Just ignoring any damn thing.

Even Daddy Style at least cared about the plight of black cubans.

He admitted he didn't give a damn about the white ones, which is still misguided, but he at least cared about the ones that looked like him.

Lucky's stance is just "It's none of my business." Really says a lot.

I don't think anyone is denying Castro's atrocities.

But, you have to look into a full context rather and him as a polarizing figure.

I think the United States government us very hypocritical when they are the biggest export of terrorism and have blood on their hands themselves. They are there showing footage and decrying Castro's human rights abuses when they are seen as the biggest tyrants by many around the world. So they hate on Castro for defying them but yet ally with other dictator puppets yet it appeaseseems their interests. We are just saying goes there's things Castro did even better than the U.S. government.

Nobody is Pro Castro in the thread, like I said you just have idiots in here who are mad everyone isn't in here bashing Castro.

Literally people are saying they don't know much about what happened in Cuba thus they aren't going to speak on it and cats are mad about that.

lol these peons are comical.
There's just ppl knowledgeable of Castro and those ignorant of Castro. You being a part of the latter.
"I don't know what happened so I can't speak on it."

"Here's what happened."

"I don't know what happened so I can't speak on it."

"I just told you what happened so that can't be it. You just don't care and I wish you'd admit it"

"Lol peon you mad? Pull your skirt down over your thong. I discuss things like a grown man."

And you're still in your feelings. :p
You protesting too much.

All the insults and childish name calling but everybody else are the ones crying and in their feelings.

Go read a book.

Nobody is praying the men. Simply gave respect on a situation that involved Castro. If you can't understand that oh well.

And it is their beef. They have a history with Castro that I do not, thus it is their beef. If you want to be Captain Planet then have at it. I don't know the full details of the beef they have with Castro, because while they have beef I have seen Cubans who praised Castro and view him as a hero. I`m not going to tell either party if they are right or wrong, I will however say from what I know about Castro and his involvement in African Liberation movements, I respect his contributions.

When did I claim to be a Castro expert? I made my point very clear in this thread, I gave Castro his props for specific situations I am knowledgable of. All that other stuff is y'alls business because it's not for me to speak on, yet y'all are consistently trying to imply someone is caping for the man. Cats giving Castro props on the situation they know about and dudes are trying to force their feelings on them.

Caring about the oppression of people in other countries is playing Capt Planet now? Wouldn't you caring about the liberation of those West African countries make you as much of a Capt Planet as me?

What a joke :lol With Lucky's logic, the Civil Rights Act shouldn't have been passed since white people were already prospering and living without discrimination. White politicians should've just said "It's none of my business"

People pick and choose which injustices they care about and which ones they choose to have their heads in the sand on.

What in the flying hell are you talking about?

Look like an idiot trying to get jokes off brehs.

The topic isn't caring about anything. As I stated, being uninformed does not = not caring. I clearly stated I am uninformed on all of the details of Cuban politics so it is not my place to speak on them.

Why people want to ignore this and act like idiots beats me but you all can continue with it.

If you are uninformed on Global Warming and literally make the statement "I`m not informed on it, so I won't speak on it", does that mean you do not care?
Now what if there are people who are more well versed on it, and have their own opinions on it whether they may have specific bias, if you say "Well y'all can discuss that" why is it an issue to let those more devoted to the subject to discuss their own thoughts?

Yet in the same breath these people who care so much about Cuba are trying to sell Blacks in America they aren't oppressed, call them Leftist, big up Reagan, etc etc.

All you peons can miss me with that and would be better off placing me on ignore because at this point your just wasting your time going back and forth.
