If I remember correctly the Nike logo was originally only on the brown box with the black/red 11s… When the 12s came out is when Jordan Brand became its own standalone company separate from Nike, hence the Jordan logo on the box instead of the swoosh.

I've had the 04, 12 and now the 22. Didn't have the og playoffs (had taxis but I'm going to compare the 3 I have had).

The 2012 was by far the worst. The material used regulated the stitching on the side useless. The 12s should puff a little bit from where the stich lines are, that barley happened on thr 2012s. I will say I haven't worn the 22 pair yet and probably won't won't a few weeks. They are definitely a sid retro, they compare very well to the Dmp taxis. That being g said, I don't think I can put them above the 04 as the 04 were super comfortable. Looks wise I find them close to thr 04. Overall, solid retro from JB.

I have/had all 3 of those releases also and you're correct...
Og > 04 > 22 > 12

On another note, this one of the very few pairs I'll buy with a white outsole. 9/10 times that's a deal breaker, but this have too much nostalgic significance to ever pass up.

Never had the original. 2004 was my check to check broke boy era just trying to make it on my own. I loved finally having them in 2012 for the first time but could not understand why they changed some obvious colors up. This release is closest I have came to the original. I like how they lifted and made the Jumpman resemble the original. I really cant complain about these. Getting this release felt like having them for the first time.

I got to try on both an 11 and 11.5 and went with the 11. Feels just like the Royalty. A little snug but they’ll break in.

There are a lot of unclaimed pairs it seems.

Saw these in person today. I didn't cop but the quality seems pretty decent. Not sure about the carbon fiber, looks different, but everything felt nice in hand. Hope you guys enjoy these. OG cw's are what it's about...

I would have gotten the 14 and put an insole or something to fill the space. Being forced to have conditions to wear something I paid 200$ for is not for me fam.

These are the only 12s I have currently. If it wasn't for the gold jumpman tab, I might have considered keeping royalties. Also, the playoff shape is more looking compared to flu games and french blues.
