I needs to try turkey fried one thanksgiving
I'm at my sister's crib and was surprised they were frying turkey
As I posted before I hosted my first Thanksgiving in my new home. Had a good time and everything came out great IMO. My mom made the lasagna, my sis in law made the pernil (pork shoulder), mother in law made rice. I made everything else.
Shout out to whoever posted the video tutorial on how to carve a bird.

Gravy, cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes, stuffing, pastelon, string beans, candied yams, baked bacon mac and cheese, arroz con gaundules.

We gotta do better as a people. Everybody had to go olates which was expected. I made enough to make sure there was enough and for me and my girl to have plenty leftovers. Tell me why they leave every side, but ain't not one slice of turkey left

That's what I always hear black folk call it. Cornbread dressing to be exact. Other folks use regular bread.
