FOOD THREAD VOL. GRUB LIFE

Gonna need a recipe for crust

2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp salt
1 tbsp sugar
1 tsp baking powder
2 cups water

Mix that in together. Olive oil being the last ingredient added. Close shut for 5 minutes.

On a surface or large plate you'll pour out 3 cups of flour. Make a little hole at the top and add the mixture little by little while working to keep the substance a solid mound.

Put it in a bowl and let it sit in the oven between 75-85 degrees for an hour. Take it out and start rolling the dough into the size and shape of a large plate. This usually makes 5 personal pizzas.

While you were rolling out the dough, the oven should have been heating up at 400. Once you're ready to put the dough in the oven, turn it down to 215 and put each pizza in there individually for 10 mins on a baking sheet.

Take it out, add ingredients and put it back in for another 5-10.

CVS has 6 oz, Blue Diamonds Almonds on sale for 2.50.

I just bought some Salt and Vinegar Almonds.

You love salt and vinegars, you should go try them

Was gonna try but saw these were back and had to.

I've had fried pigs feet from The Pig in DC, as well as fries ribs from diff Asian spots, they were light and juicy. This **** ain't as outrageous as ya'll make it.

Continuing in my efforts to stop eating like I hate myself. Egg salad with chives, dill, horseradish, dijon, and celery leaves along with pickled red onion, spinach, roma tomatoes, and chipotle Tabasco in a flax wrap:

This looks good. :smokin

I'm tight. I made eggs this morning and was scraping excess from the pan into the garbage pail, not realizing the bread bag was sticking to the bottom of the pan :smh: and now there is the plastic stuck.

R.I.P or can it be saved? Google is telling me a baking soda remedy, or even putting the pan in the freezer to brittle the plastic for possible removal. Not the end of the world if I have to buy a replacement, just trying to avoid it if I can.

Damn, gotta a call from Wegmans to say there’s an E. coli recall on the veggie rice & past we bought...

Had some cauliflower rice Monday night that tasted like **** so I scrapped it off my plate into the garbage disposal.

Luckily havdn’t felt any of the reported effects at all. Doesn’t pay to eat healthy... >D:smh:

This country’s fda is so poorly staffed & poorly run...

Good!

 Veggie rice deserves to die

I can never be trusted to make my own salad at a salad bar. I just keep seeing things and thinking "hey, I like that" and putting it on the salad to the point where there's no sort of theme or thought as to what actually goes together and what doesn't.

When I was younger I used to do that **** at Ruby Tuesday's  talking about pouring on 2+ dressings and throw pasta salad on top of my plate.
